The Encounter Music - Never Late (CCM)

It's been a long, hard year. We've been through a lot of ups and downs, and it's been hard to keep our heads above water. But today, I'm going to tell you about a song that will help you find your place in the sun—and it's called Never Late.

The song was released on December 22nd, 2022 by The Encounter Music, a collective of people based in Singapore.

The Encounter Music - Never LateThe song speaks to our deep, burning faith in and reliance on God. In times of darkness and uncertainty, God is always with us, paving the way and showing us the light. The lyrics remind us of the many promises God has made, promises that we have seen come to life in our own lives. We can trust that God will never be late in offering us guidance and support. With this unwavering faith, we choose to wait on God, knowing that we are held in His loving hands and that we don't need to fear the future because He is with us and all we need. Let God's words fill you with reassurance and comfort, knowing that your prayers have been heard and that you are safe in His loving embrace.

The lyrics are beautiful and uplifting—they're perfect for these difficult times!

"Hiding Place (Live)" by DBU Chapel Worship: Forgiven, Covered, and Free

How often do you hear worship songs being sung live in the comforts of your day-to-day living? For sure, there are a dime a dozen. Some you commonly share with the person next to you, featuring songs by popular Christian Artists. But there's a certain form of unique sincerity when one discovers a worship song that is yet to break through to a larger audience. This is how the song "Hiding Place" by DBU Chapel Worship featuring Olivia-Grace McKern felt like when I first listened to the song. It felt like a new testimony being told, of one's dedication to find God and remain in his presence.  Taking root from Psalm 32, the song is a collaboration of Olivia with a host of songwriters from the DBU Chapel Worship. Enriching her experience as a songwriter and moving her through the songwriting process. In perhaps a reflection of what the song eventually became, it wasn't so that Olivia conveniently hid behind the DBU Chapel Worship songwriters/musicians. This song is a c...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...
