"My Father’s Sins" by The Bapti$$: Wrestling with Legacy and Redemption


"My Father's Sins" by The Bapti$$ is a raw, introspective song that looks at the theme of generational pain and the struggle for spiritual freedom. Anchored in what The Bapti$$ describes as an aching guitar and a deep 808 heartbeat, the lyrics address the weight of inherited struggles ("my father's sins"), emotional repression, and the struggle to break free from this past.

The song also makes it clear that turning to God for help is never a weakness, He is the best way forward!
