"Finally Happy" by k4g3: A Joyful Surrender


This deep house track by k4g3 hits differently than k4g3's previous tracks. The lyrics are about feeling a childlike joy that comes from deciding to bend your knee and follow Jesus. Most of us are searching for happiness all over the place. We chase fleeting thrills and allow life's distractions to consume us. We find all of these shiny things to latch onto, we give them so much of our precious time and energy, and we always end up disappointed. We throw that shiny thing aside, and simply repeat the same process over and over again, chasing the next shiny thing and end up disappointed...

k4g3 - Finally HappyK4g3 flips the script with a backstory straight from the heart. He talks about stopping this endless hunt for temporary satisfactions and embracing a deeper peace by embracing a Father in heaven who loves us, who sent his only son to give us His good news of salvation. That's the key message of the song: accept that true freedom comes from bending the knee and stop chasing the next shiny fad.

"Finally happy, finally free // The Lord came to me // He showed me what I could be," that is the change of heart and mind that God brings. K4gs invites you to swap the chains for wings and discover that God is the source of happiness and love that surpasses all things. True freedom waits for us in our surrender.

“I Believe” by Reagan Nichole: A Ten-Year-Old’s Bold Declaration of Faith

What if darkness can’t stay where Jesus lives? Eleven-year-old Reagan Nichole from Texas wrote “I Believe” right after she turned ten. Most of us wait decades before saying what we believe out loud. "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" by Robby Robinson & Andrea Hammond: Stand Firm in His Victory

What fortress stands when everything else shakes? Martin Luther wrote “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” in a time of upheaval. Now Robby Robinson and Andrea Hammond have given this hymn a fresh voice, released just in time for Reformation Week. The arrangement begins softly with piano and a single violin. Then Andrea sings, and it builds into a joyful, uplifting orchestral arrangement with layered strings, piano, and Andrea’s soaring violin.
