Ora Street Mission Band - King's Table (CCM)

Ora Street Mission Band has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called King's Table.

The band shares the following: "The story of David and Jonathon's son always struck me as such an example of God's mercy. David made a covenant with Jonathon, who dies and leaves a son behind that is crippled. David sends for him and he feels so unworthy that he begs to be David's servant but David picks him up, puts a robe around him, puts a ring on his finger, and sets him at the King's Table."

Lyrics:

Ora Street Mission Band - King's Table[Verse]
God is calling me higher
He's calling me past the outer courts
He's calling me to the Holy of Holies
To where that new wine is poured

[Verse]
He remembers his promises
To Him He calls me to come
But at his feet I begged to be his servant
But instead He made me His son

[Pre-chorus]
Oh I've been so thirsty
So thirsty for You!
Lord, I've been so hungry
Hungry for Your move!

[Chorus]
God is calling me to the King's table
He is calling me to come up high
I want to feast at Zion's table
He is calling me, oh, to His side

[Verse]
Now I come to His table
In His presence I can barely stand
When He tells about His plans for me
How He wants to give us this land

[Pre-chorus]
Oh I've been so thirsty
So thirsty for You!
Lord, I've been so hungry
Hungry for Your move!

[Chorus]
God is calling me to the King's table
He is calling me to come up high
And I want to feast at Zion's table
He is calling me, oh, to His side
He is calling me to His side

[Bridge]
So blow the trumpet in Zion Zion!
Sound the alarm in my holy mountain
He's calling me, I hear Him calling me!
To drink from the ancient fountain

[Bridge]
So blow the trumpet
Sound the alarm in my holy mountain
He's calling me, I hear Him calling me!
To drink from the ancient fountain

[Chorus]
God is calling me to the King's table
He is calling me to come up high
I want to feast at Zion's table
He is calling me, oh

[Chorus]
God is calling me to the King's table
He is calling me to come up high
And I want to feast at Zion's table
He is calling me, oh, to His side

[Outro]
He is calling me to His side
He is calling me to His side
He is calling me to His side

"The List Goes On (Jordan's Song)" by Chris Sarver: Finding Freedom in Faith

Have you ever felt the weight of the past (old chains) even after you're free? Chris Sarver's "The List Goes On (Jordan's Song)" addresses this specific struggle. Chris shared the following: "Like many of you, I have been part of text thread groups whose main purpose is for encouragement and prayer. … About four years ago, in one of those men's groups, my friend from church, Jordan Hanks, shared a message you can see in the picture. It was simple. He wrote about how sometimes we feel the old weight we carried before Jesus lifted it. And when that weight tries to creep back in, he reminds himself of the names Jesus has earned in his life. He is a Healer." In other words, when shame whispers lies, we must speak truth louder. The lyrics confess, "The chains are gone, sometimes I still find that I can feel their weight." Instead of hiding this feeling, Chris Sarver turns it into a moment of worship. He calls out names that Jesus has earned in...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Praise You In The Morning" by Taylor Pride: Waking up to the sound of Worship

(by Jasper Tan) Taylor Pride's latest single, "Praise You In The Morning" is an uplifting song that is a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness in different seasons and circumstances. The song is an acknowledgement that even if we are facing hardships and difficulties, we should still continue to praise God, for he is our provider and protector. And that he has promised to redeem us in his perfect time. The song follows an established style of Taylor's "heart-on-your-sleeve" type of worship song, drawing inspiration for this song's music from the likes of Cody Carnes and Phil Wickham's songs, the likes of which are simple with an easy-to-sing chorus layered by joyful sounds. The lyrics serve as a prayer for those in the "desert seasons," suggesting that praise is a choice made even in times of uncertainty with our faith. The song uses the transition from night to day as a metaphor for moving from weeping to hope. It is a modern worship...
