Ray Curenton - Aroundabout (CCM)

Ray Curenton - Aroundabout
Ray Curenton has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called 'Aroundabout'.

"Lyrically, this song, like much of my catalog, is all about finding encouragement even amid uncertainty", says Ray. He continues: "It can be disillusioning to feel like your life is stuck on a loop of hardship and denials. Lord knows living through this pandemic for more than two years has felt like that for ALL of us. But, as the song posits, what if there might be little life lessons and revelations that we might be able to glean along the way? Perhaps they may even hold the key to our salvation…."

Lyrics:

Ayy, so I really need to break down and finally get a pedicure, man
I'm not tired yet…but I think my feet might be
You know, running for Jesus?

Round, round, round

Been around the block a few times now, and here's the thing:
Life has a funny way of sending you back and back, back and back again
You could have conniptions worried 'bout what seasons bring (Bring)
Truth is your need for closure could awaken events that once had been
I know you're already ready for greener pastures (Greener pastures)
Wanna kick and scream, feel like forces in charge have put you on parole
But what if the glow-up lies in unfinished chapters
And all you need to do is surrender to what is beyond your control?

And if you ain't get what you need on the first try
God will press repeat: it's your chance for a rewind
Get in your lane, don't let your exit pass by
'Cus if it does you'll have to go back a…

Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(Keep your head and don't let it take you out)
Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(You gon' win as long as you don't bow out)

Round and around and around and a
Ooh!

You may be about to really, truly, catch a case
Same job, same commute, same funny money, same broke-down relationship
Look, I don't know the reason why you've returned to this place
But I know a power discovering truth in thankless stewardship
If you don't allow cycles to fill you up with spite
Finding new perspective for your circumstance unlocks exclusive scoops
Here comes the opportunity to finally get it right (Mmm get it right)
Let it pave the way for you to find yourself out of that awful loop

And if you ain't get what you need on the first try
You can press repeat on this song for a rewind
Get in your lane, don't let your exit pass by
'Cus if it does you'll have to go back a…

Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(Keep your head and don't let it take you out)
Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(You gon' win as long as you don't bow out)

Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(Keep your head and don't let it take you out)
Round and around and around and a oh-oh
Round and around and around and a oh
Round-round and around and around and aroundabout
(You gon' win as long as you don't bow out)

"Is Anybody There? (Psalm 27)" by Stephen M. Miller: Holding On to Grace at Heaven’s Door

Stephen M. Miller's "Is Anybody There? (Psalm 27)" comes in the quiet aftermath of the Christmas celebrations, when reflection can feel like isolation. Stephen's song isn't about polishing away his mistakes, nor does it encourage you to do so with your mistakes. Stephen shares his painful experience, "I never saw it coming Lord // It felt right but it was wrong // Family and friends have left me // But I still have you and a song."   Stephen owns the fallout of his actions, taking accountability without despair. "I said it and I did it, Lord // Broke more hearts than I'll ever know // I can't fix this, though I've tried // Don't be angry, and please don't go." His song is a prayer for God's presence and guidance. "Hear me when I call you, Lord // Don't turn your face away // Don't give up on me like others have // Come help me through this day." Stephen describes a fear that we too experience when we ...

'Miracle Child' by Brandon Lake: A Symphony of Redemption and New Life

In the comforting embrace of Brandon Lake's song, 'Miracle Child,' we are invited to explore the tender mercies of God, to perceive ourselves not as mere beings surviving the odds but as divine miracles in motion. This contemporary Christian music (CCM) masterpiece assures listeners of the stunning grace of God, reminding us that the same power that conquered the grave resides within us. Opening the hymn with words brimming with poignant candor— 'I shouldn't be alive...But I'm a miracle child' —Lake underscores the transformative power of God's love. His soulful rendition paints an animated narrative, celebrating life's delivery from the brink through divine intervention. Death, he boldly challenges, hasn't claimed its victory over his life because 'My savior's word is final / I am resurrected / Blood protected / I am a miracle child.' These words echo with the astounding reassurance of Christ's resurrection and our security in ...

"Nothing Can Separate Us" by Divine Vibes: A Melodic House Drop Inspired By Romans 8

What if the one thing you've been searching for was by your side all the time? That's the question that Divine Vibes answers in his latest track "Nothing Can Separate Us." This track is a dance-pop and melodic-house collaboration with the Mexican artist Bervmen. The lyrics are based on Romans 8:38–39, and this production turns the scripture passage into a powerful and danceable anthem. Like always, the message of Divine Vibes is beautifully direct. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor future can separate us from the love of God. You'll hear how the lyrics build on the previous line and dismantle every fear that could make you believe that God's love has limits. It doesn't, it can't, and this song makes that perfectly clear. What makes this track stand out is how Divine Vibes and Bervman deliver their message. You'll hear soaring vocals in a melodic house production that celebrates the joy found in the promises of R...
