Jean Marie Desir - I Am Blessed (Gospel)

Jean Marie Desir's gospel song 'I Am Blessed' is a heartfelt expression of gratitude and faith in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. The song speaks to Desir's personal journey and the profound impact of Jesus as their Redeemer and King.

Desir finds solace and strength in the knowledge that we are truly blessed because of Jesus' sacrifice. Through the highs and lows of life, he acknowledges that every breath we take is actually a testament to the blessings bestowed upon us by our Redeemer.

Jean Marie Desir - I Am BlessedThe lyrics of 'I Am Blessed' affirm the redeemed status we all have through Jesus Christ. Desir recognizes the presence of sunshine and rain, glory and pain in life's journey, and yet, with each breath, we declare our blessedness.

Join along with this heartfelt expression of thanksgiving to Jesus for His faithfulness, unfailing love, and mercy. May we all acknowledge the privilege of leaning on His strength and the blessings that come with every breath we may take.

Take a moment to reflect on your own blessings and find strength and hope in the faithfulness of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. May this song, through its heartfelt lyrics and uplifting melody, serve as a reminder of the abundant blessings that come from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." The honesty about his past struggles makes the message of this song so relatable and powerful.  The chorus is about the moment that the script was flipped, "I'm half the man I used to be." Not a broken man, but a man who has been freed from the burdens that weren't his to carry and kept him from God. "I don't ever chase, I got God," declaring that his new identity is anchored in faith. It's a shrug and a testimo...

"Hiding Place (Live)" by DBU Chapel Worship: Forgiven, Covered, and Free

How often do you hear worship songs being sung live in the comforts of your day-to-day living? For sure, there are a dime a dozen. Some you commonly share with the person next to you, featuring songs by popular Christian Artists. But there's a certain form of unique sincerity when one discovers a worship song that is yet to break through to a larger audience. This is how the song "Hiding Place" by DBU Chapel Worship featuring Olivia-Grace McKern felt like when I first listened to the song. It felt like a new testimony being told, of one's dedication to find God and remain in his presence.  Taking root from Psalm 32, the song is a collaboration of Olivia with a host of songwriters from the DBU Chapel Worship. Enriching her experience as a songwriter and moving her through the songwriting process. In perhaps a reflection of what the song eventually became, it wasn't so that Olivia conveniently hid behind the DBU Chapel Worship songwriters/musicians. This song is a c...
