'Pray Twice' by Andrew Macdonald - Sing Your Prayer

There is a beautiful quote attributed to St. Augustine that says: 'The one who sings prays twice'. Andrew Macdonald combines that message with Psalm 150 in his song 'Pray Twice'. Inspired by the joyful noise of Psalm 150 and realizing that singing elevates our prayers, Macdonald created this song as a tribute to his church band, as well as to everyone who sings in worship. This song is an invitation to stand up, sing, and join others in praise.

Andrew Macdonald - Pray Twice'Pray Twice' reminds us that when we sing, we're doubling down on our prayers. It celebrates collective worship, uniting fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers in a melody of praise, and rejoicing in God's presence.

When life is throwing lots at you and weighing you down, singing praises is a great way to get some of that load off our shoulders. 'Pray Twice' is an upbeat, lively song that encourages you to open your heart and let your voice soar, because when we sing, we make a deeper connection to God and with others.

Give 'Pray Twice' a listen. May Andrew Macdonald's dedication inspire you, and remember, when words fall short, your song speaks volumes.

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...
