'Let Him Work' by Faith Worship Artists: Finding Peace in God’s Plan

Faith Worship Artists released a new song “Let Him Work”. Great music, especially if you are (sometimes) struggling with His plan, or have different expectations of His timing and answers.

Faith Worship Artists - Let Him WorkThis song was inspired by Romans 8:28, and calls us to surrender our worries and trust that God is at work, shaping our lives for the better. Trust, it's just a small word, but it can require a huge leap of faith! The song immediately challenges you, “Who are you trusting / To ease every worry,” asking those personal questions that we all face. John Dreher of Faith Worship Arts shares that the song’s essence is about embracing God’s perfect timing and plan. We're not able grasp even a fraction of what He has in store for us and His timings, “So let Him work / ‘Cause He’s not done with you.” God is never finished with us and His plans are for our good. What will it take for you to surrender to Him?

Faith Worship Artists encourages you, “When you are walking / Through darkness and shadows / Don’t be afraid / for we have a Savior and He’s here.” Jesus walks with us, including our darkest moments, and this reminds me of the poem about footsteps in the sand, where He carries us when we couldn't continue on our own.

“There’s much more to this story / Keep trusting in the Lord and / Let Him work / ‘Cause when He’s done / It will be good.” He's got a plan for us, so wait, be patient, give Him control, believing that His work in our lives will be completed in His own perfect timing.

May this song leave you feeling uplifted and reassured, knowing that God’s goodness overflows in your life, as you can hear in these lines, “My cup is running over / His goodness overflowing.”

Go ahead and listen to 'Let Him Work'. I trust that you won't regret it.

Skillet - Valley of Death (CCM)

Skillet has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Valley of Death. The global health crisis of the last two years has led to numerous questions regarding why bad things happen to good people. Skillet's John Cooper explains why he believes God allowed the pandemic to happen. Skillet has released their new album Dominion through Atlantic Records last Friday (Jan. 14). A discussion with 'Loudwire Nights' host Toni Gonzalez brought up the track "Valley of Death," which contains the lyrics: "Someone said this is all part of the plan / But I don't understand." Gonzalez then asked him why he thinks God would allow a pandemic. This is what Cooper said: "Well, the first answer is that we're not good people. We're all fallen and we are all in desperate need of salvation through Jesus. So, we're not actually good people, we all do bad stuff. We all cheat, we've all lied, we're all greedy and as much as the most lov...

"In the Room" by Matt Maher feat. Chris Brown: A Heartfelt Desire for Divine Presence

Matt Maher's collaboration with Chris Brown, 'In the Room,' is a soul-stirring Christian song that encapsulates the profound longing to witness transformative moments in the presence of God. The lyrics express the desire to be present when God's power touches broken hearts, ignites faith, and brings healing. The song's verses convey a yearning for those irreplaceable instances when heaven and earth intersect, leading to changed hearts and restored lives. The chorus's declaration, ' I just wanna be in the room when You move,' beautifully encapsulates the eagerness to witness God's miraculous work up close. The bridge's vivid imagery of tearing off the roof and pushing through the crowd reflects the determination to encounter God, no matter the obstacles. The repetition of the bridge emphasizes the earnest plea to witness God's breakthroughs and freedom. 'In the Room' is an invitation to be part of moments that are greater than oneself...

"Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children? Chelsea was inspired to write this song by reminiscing about her childhood, marked by simpler times spent with her cousins and their grandma.  Countless times, we always heard the saying that we all should have faith like a child. The reason for that i...
