Finding Refuge in "Eden’s In My Bones" by Elijah Neeley and Jonathan NaThalang


Elijah Neeley and Jonathan NaThalang's released a beautiful CCM song called "Eden's In My Bones," a song that combines a touch of country with a bit of alternative rock. The intent of the song is to give hope to people who are going through hard times and to remind them of God's love, patience, and presence.

The chorus, "You, Lord, you're my shelter," emphasizes that we don't have to bear our burdens alone. "I" changes to "we" when God is our safe haven. He wants to protect and support you and lead you away from brokenness. He doesn't want you to carry the weight of your pain on your own and will carry what you can't (if you let Him). 

An fun fact: Elijah and Jonathan originally wrote the first version of the song in just an hour. A month later, they revisited and refined the second verse to make sure that the message of hope, change, and healing was unmistakable.

"Eden's In My Bones" is a beautiful reminder that we can find peace in God's presence, no matter what challenges or battles we face. May this song encourage you to invite God into your life, because heartbreak isn't our home; God's love is.

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song.
