"Follow Jesus" by S.D.G.: Unity Through One Teacher


"Follow Jesus" by S.D.G. (Soli.Deo.Gloria) is a song that started in a miraculous way. S.D.G. shared that 95% of the song lyrics, melody, and harmony came to mind completely unexpectedly in 1–2 days. He compares it to lightning, lightly, seemingly without his effort, as if somebody else from High sent it all to him and said, "do it"! 

S.D.G. (Soli.Deo.Gloria) - Follow JesusA song sparked by the realization that many people just say, "Has not been born on earth yet… // Man who can wisely teach me life." But look at Jesus! He's already here, sowing love and offering wisdom that is way beyond human understanding. 

The song challenges us to reflect on our feelings of pride and self-reliance: "When I do say - I'm always right… Am I not blind?" It invites us to exchange our arrogance for humility and reminds us that Christ already lives among us and guides us with His grace. "Jesus - He lives in our midst, // He's the best teacher that the earth has ever known!" 

The invitation continues in the chorus: "Follow Jesus, follow Jesus, let Him guide you… let Him shepherd you… let Him teach you." A call to surrender yourself entirely and unconditionally to His leadership. What makes this song even more special is its global touch! People from diverse backgrounds and different countries came together and participated in the recordings. This is a song that literally united people with its message, and hopefully this message may also enter your heart! 

If you're seeking direction or longing for unity, let this song lead you closer to Him.

"Temptation" by Dax: Fighting Spiritual Warfare Through Faith and Prayer

Have you ever felt like the battle against temptation is relentless? In his powerful track "Temptation," Dax reminds us that every moment of resistance is a victory. He doesn't shy away from the reality that "temptations outside, knocking at my door." Instead of hiding the struggle, he exposes it. He admits that while he "won the battle last night," the war continues. In other words, spiritual discipline is a daily choice. "The Perfect Love of Christ" by John Long: Mercy That Draws Us Near

In John Long's CCM Folk song "The Perfect Love of Christ", John emotionally sings about how overwhelming it is to be loved by Jesus. All that He did for us is something that we cannot easily replicate, yet we usually take it for granted in favor of other earthly pleasures. We always want to say that we love someone, yet we can't fully back it up with a love that is pure. Because often than not, there's still a piece of our selfishness residing in our hearts.
