"Breathe A New Life – In Me" by Keith Garrett – When Faith Changes Your Story

Keith Garrett, also known as R.K.A. -  Keith Lessert, released a song called "Breathe A New Life (In Me)." The song is a call for renewal, to leave the past behind and embrace a fresh beginning. Garrett acknowledges that taking the first step to a fresh clean start isn't always easy, but you're not alone: "Eternity came and healed me within."

Keith Garrett (R.K.A. - Keith Lessert) - Breathe A New Life - In MeThe lyrics give an example of the steps that lead to the change that God brings. Garrett reflects on days of self-reliance, stormy struggles, and a hardened heart. Living recklessly and being trapped in a cycle of pride and selfishness. You can run from God, but you can't hide… There will be moments in life when you realize that God is at your door. The moment that you let Him come in is when change happens: "But when I met You // You made it fade away…cause // You breathe a new life…" He doesn't come empty-handed, He brings freedom from chains, newfound vision, and purpose rooted in grace.

What makes this song shine is the honesty and hope it brings, because it reminds us that no matter how lost we think we are, there's always a chance for a fresh start. "I once was blind, but now I can see // … // I know real purpose and the True Wealth // … // Eternity came and healed me within."

His Gift is there for everyone who is willing to accept and embrace it. God's life-changing power is there for you. Want to know more, or hear how you can get a recharge? Go ahead and press play. Open your heart to God and ask Him for your fresh, clean start. You won't regret it.

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song. "Your Love" tackles that discouraging voice we all hear from time to time, the one that whispers that we're not enough and that we are defined by our past. "Once a liar, always a liar," and all kinds of variations along this same line of thought. This song isn't about wallowing in shame. "Your Love" is a celebration of the grace that changes everything.  The opening lines hit hard: "I could believe that I'm not enough // It's clear to see I don't measure up." Yep, we've all been there! But this isn't how God want us to be defined… He loved us first! "It's just what You've done // Because of Your love." That's the heart of everything.  Kevin places the change the God brings into perspective, "I could believe that my mistakes // Will follow me down into the grave // But I'm not who I was....

"How Good You Are" by ECTaylor: His Goodness Shines in Our Darkest Places

ECTaylor wrote "How Good You Are" one early morning while sitting outside alone, watching the sunrise and listening to the peaceful sounds of the woods. After more than a share of life's challenges, ECTaylor felt something almost sacred as the first light of day broke through the trees. He speaks about a "deep, whispered reminder of God's goodness that shines even in our darkest places." The lyrics immediately set the tone, "When morning breaks with golden light, Your mercy lifts me from the night," a tone of hope. It's amazing how simple wonders of nature, like the sparrow's singing and the flowing of a river, can remind us of God and His constant presence. ECTaylor shares, "I thought about Paul, worshiping God from a prison cell. I finally began to understand just a bit of how he could praise and be thankful in the midst of pain—because when you truly see who God is, gratitude rises above circumstance." Sometimes we are trappe...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...
