The lyrics talk about the changes that we are seeing in the world, "And now the world has changed in oh so many ways // It's really happening in these latter days." This alludes to our Lord and Savior, who "came into this life to set us free // And left a mark for all eternity." The song ends with the reassurance that "it's waiting for you there in paradise," and urges us to listen to our inner calling and not delay living with purpose.
