"All I Know" by Estella Kirk: Finding Rest in God’s Presence


"All I Know (To My Knees)" a beautiful song by Estella Kirk, and features Hunter Plake. Estella describes the song as "an invitation to trade exhaustion for intimacy with Jesus—offering peace in the middle of uncertainty." Inspired by Psalm 23, the song captures the beauty of surrender and His unconditional love, "thought that you would find me appalling." There is always a way forward, to better, not because we have everything figured out, but because we trust the One who's preparing the table for us.

The kind of rest that feels like sitting with my closest friends or family." He offers us a safe haven and reminds us that He is there when we fall, "Never thought I'd be the one falling // Lost in your gaze." At times life can feel overwhelming, a deafening noise that distracts us from feeling His presence and hearing His whispers, "I never knew you were always calling me to grace." The fact that we get distracted doesn't mean that He has forgotten us. 

The lyrics remind us of His promise, "All I know // Is that you're setting a table // In the presence of my enemies." (Psalm 23:5) He asks us to trust, have faith, and surrender so that He can give us the strength to be greater than our struggles. So, stop trying to handle things on your own, and let Him take the lead, "I'm getting tired of my reckless driving // I'll just float and let you take control." 

With ambient production and rich harmonies, this song creates sacred moments to break away from the noise of life to worship. If you're feeling weary and just need a reminder of God's care, may this song bring you to your knees in worship.
