"Come Let Us Go" by NARROWAY: Journey to the Mountain of Light


It's difficult to imagine that there will be a day when all nations are tired of the chaos and finally ask, "Where do we go from here?" The answer to that question is the theme of NARROWAY's "Come, Let Us Go."

The lyrics are inspired by Isaiah 2 and Micah 4, and look forward to "… the days that are coming, the mountain will rise // Lifted above all the nations and skies // People will gather from near and far // Saying, "Let's go to where His teachings are."

NARROWAY - Come Let Us GoAs we observe the chaos in the world, the wars, and the rumor of wars, it's hard to imagine that "Swords turned to plows, war fades away // Shalom will reign in Yah's good way." Believe it or not, there will be a day with "No more fear, no more fight // Just His Torah shining bright."

But the key message of this song isn't a distant promise! The lyrics pull us to the here and now… our present reality. The reality is that God's Kingdom is stepping onto earth, one obedient footstep at a time. Obedience is the keyword here, our obedience to do His will. The line "House of Jacob, rise and walk" reminds us that faith is a verb; it's motion and not a museum piece.

As you listen, you can feel the steady drum, a beat that mimics pilgrim feet on their way to the mountain of light. You hear the vocals swell like distant tribes converging. The words of the chorus, "Come, let us go to the mountain of light," find their way to your lips, and as you sing, they become your heartbeat as well… Calling you to follow.

Are you ready to trade the worldly noise for His direction? Are you ready to obey? Grab your headphones, hit repeat, and walk toward His light. Because His Word stands forever, and it's calling you to do His will.
