“We Worship You I AM”, Doyin Teru – Worship in Spirit and Truth


"We Worship You I AM" by Doyin Teru is a relatively simple song with a massive vision and message behind it. The song was born in a moment of prayer. In Bolaji Teru's own words: "Few minutes into the prayers, I knelt down on my knees with the consciousness that God is present and must be revered. In a moment, tears began to flow from my eyes as I heard the song in my spirit as if it's being sung by thousands of others. So I joined them to sing the song and right after, took my phone, recorded the song and gradually began to develop and produced it." In other words, this isn't just another worship track; it's an invitation to join in with a heavenly chorus. 

Doyin Teru - We Worship You I AMThe song repeats a few core phrases: "We worship Your Majesty," "We worship Your Royalty," and the declaration, "We worship You, I AM." Instead of crowding the song with many words, it leans on the weight of God's revealed name  — "I AM," the Eternal One - reminding you that the God you worship has always been and will always be present. 

When you hear "Kadosh, Kadosh" and "Baruch–Abba," you're drawn into reverence: Holy, Holy, Blessed Father. 

The closing line in the lyrics anchors the song in Revelation 7: "Blessing and Glory and Honor and Power, Forever and Ever, and Ever, Amen." It points you to that great multitude that is before the Lamb, and it quietly asks you: "Will you take your place among them?" So, so ahead and press play. May this song nudge you to worship in spirit and in truth — and remember that your voice matters in this eternal chorus.

"Chasing Nothing" by Louis Loock: When Grace Starts Chasing You

"Time in Your Presence" by Austin J. Smith: Why Wasting Time With God Is Never a Waste

Could “wasting time” be the greatest worship? Austin J. Smith wrote “Time in Your Presence” around a simple but countercultural idea: “love doesn’t calculate” . We live in a world that is obsessed with output — checklists, side-hustles, proving what we are worth through who we're seen with and what we accomplish. So what happens when you bring that same mindset into your relationship with God?
