(by Jasper Tan) "Isn't He Wonderful" by Colonial Heights Worship is a peaceful yet powerful worship song that centers on the concept of Adoration. It brings forth the character and nature of Jesus Christ as we are invited to extol Him with the highest praise possible. It does not rely on specific biblical events, but rather draws from one's personal experience of Him and how one knows Him. This form of worship gives a sense of "awe" and "wonder" as it enhances what we have learned from the Holy Scriptures, a form of certainty as it is drawn from a first-hand account of experiencing Christ in our lives.

This shared experience creates a sense of security for us as we are assured that Jesus is present today among us. We build our intimacy with Him through His greatness and faithfulness. Building our relationship with Him through more personal means rather than learned.

Praising and glorifying Him as often as we can will bring us to a more intimate relationship with Him as we learn to become less of ourselves and be more for Him. "Isn't He Wonderful" reminds us that only God's Faithfulness and mercy, and our continued appreciation and faithfulness to Him, are what will ultimately ensure our relationship with Him grows into something much more deeper. "Yes this is our God // Isn't He wonderful!!"

"King Of All Nations" by Ezra Worship Initiative: Sing Today What Heaven Will Sing Forever

Your worship today echoes eternity. Ezra Worship Initiative trains young worship leaders through a ten-week, seminary-based internship. Their songwriters learn Scripture first and melody second. You can hear this in their latest release, “King Of All Nations,” a song written for congregations to sing. The song opens as a prayer: “May Your Name be proclaimed in all creation.” Who does the proclaiming? The Church does. "No Other Name" by Joakim Arenius and Josef Tingbratt: Hope That Outlasts the Darkness

Darkness grips hard, but one name holds harder. Where do you turn when your strength runs out? Josef Tingbratt and Joakim Arenius wrote “No Other Name” for that moment. Their song follows a man who is “Restless weary and alone,” “So many miles from home.” Inner voices that treat him unkindly. Then a night raid brings brutal violence: “They tried to break his body down, but they could not break his crown.” Notice what he does when “darkness gets its grip.” He calls Jesus: “Jesus, Jesus hear my cry.” No fancy words, just a cry.
