Anna Benton - Seasons

Anna Benton has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Seasons.

Anna shared the following with us about her song: "About three years ago, I sat down at our little kitchen table and asked the Lord to give me words that people needed to hear. Isaiah 40:8 kept popping in my head, which says "The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.” The bridge of the song was inspired by this verse, and the rest of the song seemed to fall into place! My friend Spencer Higgins added some flavor on the banjo, and Tommy Brinson came in with the trumpet - this paired with all of the other talented musicians made Seasons a quirky and fun song to worship with! Praise God that He is constant through every season that we face."

Skillet has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Valley of Death. The global health crisis of the last two years has led to numerous questions regarding why bad things happen to good people. Skillet's John Cooper explains why he believes God allowed the pandemic to happen. Skillet has released their new album Dominion through Atlantic Records last Friday (Jan. 14). A discussion with 'Loudwire Nights' host Toni Gonzalez brought up the track "Valley of Death," which contains the lyrics: "Someone said this is all part of the plan / But I don't understand." "Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children?
