Rita Springer, kalley - Nothing To Buy (CCM)

Rita Springer, kalley - Nothing To Buy
On Friday, August 26, Rita Springer, kalley shared new music with this track titled 'Nothing To Buy'.

Rita Springer releases a beautiful song, but the joy normally experienced with such a release is pushed to the background due to grief due to the loss of a loved one (Deb).

Rita shares: 'This grief of losing her is a bomb in “suddenly” but it’s debris is just deep sadness. There is no smacking myself around in the regretting of things. We talked almost daily. She just could not open her wings enough to take flight and believe she was a real bird. She was loaded with gift and kindness but you have to be kind to yourself and you really do need to love the stitching and threading together God did in you. That was hard for her. Shoot, still hard for me even. When she left Wednesday I had to keep myself steady to keep a conference commitment and pour into other people. I had to fill the fridge so when I left my kid could eat. I needed to find friends to sit in the stands and scream his name at the game I was missing. The list was long. So I pushed even the sadness to the corner so I could get things done before I can tend to it.
I’m sitting on one of 4 flights to get to the remnants of her and clear the path of belongings and tape up the boxes of her life. Sadness. Can I just say, please learn to fly. Please believe that God can give you strength for anything. Don’t keep putting off life because you don’t think it sees you. And find balance. Grief isn’t our enemy. It’s just a waiting room we have to wait in, until day breaks. I miss you, Deb.'

We're also praying for you Rita! Even with this loss, you are still focussed on keeping your conference commitment and giving to others. Wow!

We are happy to be able to share the lyrics with you.

"Time in Your Presence" by Austin J. Smith: Why Wasting Time With God Is Never a Waste

Could “wasting time” be the greatest worship? Austin J. Smith wrote “Time in Your Presence” around a simple but countercultural idea: “love doesn’t calculate” . We live in a world that is obsessed with output — checklists, side-hustles, proving what we are worth through who we're seen with and what we accomplish. So what happens when you bring that same mindset into your relationship with God? Austin sums up the answer in a single, defiant line: “I’ll waste my time in Your presence.” Not because sitting with God earns us anything. “Earning” isn’t required by God.  The lyrics elaborate on that tension. “The world just might think I’m foolish,” Austin sings, “to waste my whole life on you.” ‘Foolish’ by whose measure and which definition? Our culture rewards busyness and prestige, but it’s not capable of measuring the benefit of a quiet moment with your Creator. Austin calls God his “morning star” and “golden hour”  — the beautiful moments of the day that don’t need justification...

"Not Far From Us" by Divine Vibes: Stop Searching. Start Reaching.

The search can end right now. The Apostle Paul stood in Athens surrounded by altars and idols — a city full of people reaching toward something they couldn’t name. Among all their shrines, Paul spotted one inscription: “To an unknown God.” That moment became the opening of one of the most powerful declarations in Scripture. The people were already searching. They just didn’t know who they were searching for. “Not Far From Us” is a collaboration between Divine Vibes and House of Purpose. The track takes that same scene and sets it to Afro House and cinematic electronic music. Created directly from Acts 17, the lyrics move like Paul’s speech itself — from observation to revelation. “I found an altar to an unknown God // This God whom you worship without knowing // This is the one I’m telling you about.” Divine Vibes doesn’t just retell the story… he pulls you right into it. What Paul told the Athenians next also applies to each of us today: “Yet he is actually not far from each one of ...

"Great Lord" by Sarah Emerson: When Mountains Teach You to Worship

Can mountains make you want to worship? Sarah Emerson wrote “Great Lord” while on a trip up in Leavenworth, Washington, surrounded by beautiful mountains. She was craving a song that she could shout from the rooftops about how great God is! That’s where this song was born — not in a studio, but looking up to something that is too big to ignore. The lyrics open with an acknowledgement: “Great is the name of the Lord, powerful is His hand.” No qualifiers. No hedging. Just stating a fact. Then the song widens its lens. “Let every mountain, every valley, speak of all Your majesty.” Suddenly it’s not just Sarah praising His majesty — it’s all of creation praising Him, “You are Great, Lord.” Reflect for a moment on your own life. Where do you feel small? Where do circumstances seem too tangled to fix? The song addresses that tension, “Nothing’s impossible, You’re making all things new… Is there anything You can’t do?” In Isaiah 55:12 we read, “the mountains and the hills before you shall b...
