3tone Music Group Raises $50M From Carlton James Group

3tone Music Group announced a new USD $50 million investment from Carlton James Group, an existing backer of the UK-based music business.

3tone, which bills itself as a "talent-focused music and media company," is best known for its indie distribution and artist/label services.

Why is this news so intriguing that we decided to publish it on Christiandance.eu?

3tone provides unlimited digital distribution to multiple streaming platforms for independent artists for a single annual fee, making it a serious competitor to TuneCore and DistroKid. The service includes the following:

Release unlimited tracks; Release unlimited artists; Keep 100% of your royalties.

AND they also have an interesting option to collect Performance and Mechanical royalties.

We believe that this service will encourage more Christian artists, who are currently limiting their releases to YouTube, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud, to take a leap of faith and release their music to digital streaming platforms.
