'Ready For You' by Coming Kingdom: Ignite Your Faith

Coming Kingdom's song, 'Ready For You,' is a fresh anthem that gives you a sense of joy and expectation. This is the second single from their upcoming debut EP, 'Awakening'. 'Ready For You' has an authentic sound that's both upbeat and driving, and beautifully captures the anticipation we feel for the Kingdom of God.

Coming Kingdom - Ready For YouThe message of the song is crystal clear: We're ready! We're ready for the Holy Spirit to move in our lives. We're eager to follow Jesus wherever He leads. The lyrics declare, 'We are ready for all you want to do, Holy Spirit move' and 'Jesus, we are ready for you.' It echoes our longing for a spiritual awakening, to see God's Kingdom advance all around us.

God is constantly moving even when we don't see it, so invite God into your heart: 'Would you break into this moment and increase our expectation'. There is so much energy in this song and it encourages us to actively participate in His work: 'We will join in with the battle, knowing you are fighting for us, you've already won the victory.' Yes, it can't be said enough; if we follow Him, we already have victory in Christ.

Spend a few minutes listening to 'Ready For You'. May it inspire you to open up your heart to God, increase your faith, and embrace the change that God's presence will have on your life.

"Hiding Place (Live)" by DBU Chapel Worship: Forgiven, Covered, and Free

How often do you hear worship songs being sung live in the comforts of your day-to-day living? For sure, there are a dime a dozen. Some you commonly share with the person next to you, featuring songs by popular Christian Artists. But there's a certain form of unique sincerity when one discovers a worship song that is yet to break through to a larger audience. This is how the song "Hiding Place" by DBU Chapel Worship featuring Olivia-Grace McKern felt like when I first listened to the song. It felt like a new testimony being told, of one's dedication to find God and remain in his presence.  Taking root from Psalm 32, the song is a collaboration of Olivia with a host of songwriters from the DBU Chapel Worship. Enriching her experience as a songwriter and moving her through the songwriting process. In perhaps a reflection of what the song eventually became, it wasn't so that Olivia conveniently hid behind the DBU Chapel Worship songwriters/musicians. This song is a c...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...
