'Don't Be Afraid' by Remilekun: Your Soundtrack to Overcoming

Remilekun's 'Don't Be Afraid' is a song of hope for anyone who's ever felt beaten down or washed up by life. A song of encouragement, pointing to God for guidance, and reminding us that there is no reason to be afraid when faith takes the driver seat.

Remilekun - Don't Be AfraidWhen you're at a crossroads, with fog making it almost impossible to see the road ahead and your heart heavy with doubt, then 'Don't Be Afraid' comes to the rescue! You could interpret the lyrics 'When your world comes crashing down, don't be afraid,' as a comforting message, but it's intended as a proactive call to get on your feet, stand tall, and face those storms with the firm belief that you're not walking alone. God's got you! He's holding your future, guiding you with gentle and firm assurance that no matter how wild the storms may rage, with faith, you'll make it to the other side.

This song gives direction, pointing you to the key that truly liberates you from fear, doubt, and despair… your faith in God. You'll feel the hope grow in your heart as the song builds up, and Remilekun grounds you with the promise that 'The One who gave you life knows… He holds your future, can't you see?'

We encourage you to listen to 'Don't Be Afraid,' and trust that this song will fill your heart with the courage to face whatever mountain is in front of you, unafraid, knowing that God is by your side. Let God take the lead! He loves you and has your back, just like He always has.

Skillet - Valley of Death (CCM)

Skillet has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Valley of Death. The global health crisis of the last two years has led to numerous questions regarding why bad things happen to good people. Skillet's John Cooper explains why he believes God allowed the pandemic to happen. Skillet has released their new album Dominion through Atlantic Records last Friday (Jan. 14). A discussion with 'Loudwire Nights' host Toni Gonzalez brought up the track "Valley of Death," which contains the lyrics: "Someone said this is all part of the plan / But I don't understand." Gonzalez then asked him why he thinks God would allow a pandemic. This is what Cooper said: "Well, the first answer is that we're not good people. We're all fallen and we are all in desperate need of salvation through Jesus. So, we're not actually good people, we all do bad stuff. We all cheat, we've all lied, we're all greedy and as much as the most lov...

"In the Room" by Matt Maher feat. Chris Brown: A Heartfelt Desire for Divine Presence

Matt Maher's collaboration with Chris Brown, 'In the Room,' is a soul-stirring Christian song that encapsulates the profound longing to witness transformative moments in the presence of God. The lyrics express the desire to be present when God's power touches broken hearts, ignites faith, and brings healing. The song's verses convey a yearning for those irreplaceable instances when heaven and earth intersect, leading to changed hearts and restored lives. The chorus's declaration, ' I just wanna be in the room when You move,' beautifully encapsulates the eagerness to witness God's miraculous work up close. The bridge's vivid imagery of tearing off the roof and pushing through the crowd reflects the determination to encounter God, no matter the obstacles. The repetition of the bridge emphasizes the earnest plea to witness God's breakthroughs and freedom. 'In the Room' is an invitation to be part of moments that are greater than oneself...

"Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children? Chelsea was inspired to write this song by reminiscing about her childhood, marked by simpler times spent with her cousins and their grandma.  Countless times, we always heard the saying that we all should have faith like a child. The reason for that i...
