'If Healing is Real' by Abbie Werner: Where Music Meets Miracles

Abbie Werner's new song 'If Healing is Real' is a musical testimony of faith, struggle, and an amazing 14-year journey of healing with Jesus. Abbie's struggles started during her middle and high school years, and looking back, on her path to recovery, she walked hand in hand with Jesus. Her recovery began with a guitar lesson.

Abbie Werner - Healing is Real'Turn your eyes upon the Person who has won / The toughest battle's done / Grab your freedom,' Abbie sings, summarizing the essence of her journey. It's a call to remember that while we are still in the middle of our battles, no matter how big or small, Jesus has already claimed victory. Abbie shares how Kelsey Sharpe (her music teacher) gave her the tools and structure to express her big feelings, prayers, and questions to Jesus through music. Music with a message of hope, encouraging you to hold onto your faith, even when everything inside you wants to let go.

Healing isn't just a possibility, Abbie's song reminds you that it is a promise that you can count on it! With lines like 'Don't give up yet, friend/I know it's hard when motivation's gone,' Abbie reaches out to others who are going through their own struggles and shows them the way to the safe harbor that we all may find in God.

Check out 'If Healing is Real.' In times of doubt, may this song lead you, and in times of joy, may it lift you. Enjoy!

Skillet - Valley of Death (CCM)

Skillet has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Valley of Death. The global health crisis of the last two years has led to numerous questions regarding why bad things happen to good people. Skillet's John Cooper explains why he believes God allowed the pandemic to happen. Skillet has released their new album Dominion through Atlantic Records last Friday (Jan. 14). A discussion with 'Loudwire Nights' host Toni Gonzalez brought up the track "Valley of Death," which contains the lyrics: "Someone said this is all part of the plan / But I don't understand." Gonzalez then asked him why he thinks God would allow a pandemic. This is what Cooper said: "Well, the first answer is that we're not good people. We're all fallen and we are all in desperate need of salvation through Jesus. So, we're not actually good people, we all do bad stuff. We all cheat, we've all lied, we're all greedy and as much as the most lov...

"In the Room" by Matt Maher feat. Chris Brown: A Heartfelt Desire for Divine Presence

Matt Maher's collaboration with Chris Brown, 'In the Room,' is a soul-stirring Christian song that encapsulates the profound longing to witness transformative moments in the presence of God. The lyrics express the desire to be present when God's power touches broken hearts, ignites faith, and brings healing. The song's verses convey a yearning for those irreplaceable instances when heaven and earth intersect, leading to changed hearts and restored lives. The chorus's declaration, ' I just wanna be in the room when You move,' beautifully encapsulates the eagerness to witness God's miraculous work up close. The bridge's vivid imagery of tearing off the roof and pushing through the crowd reflects the determination to encounter God, no matter the obstacles. The repetition of the bridge emphasizes the earnest plea to witness God's breakthroughs and freedom. 'In the Room' is an invitation to be part of moments that are greater than oneself...

"Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children? Chelsea was inspired to write this song by reminiscing about her childhood, marked by simpler times spent with her cousins and their grandma.  Countless times, we always heard the saying that we all should have faith like a child. The reason for that i...
