"Fight or Flight" by Presence Music: When "I'm Not Fine" Becomes Worship

“Dear God, I’m not fine…”  You check every box. You check every clock. Then you pace the room at 2 a.m., wondering how you ended up here. Presence Music wrote “Fight or Flight” for those moments when you’re running on empty while serving everyone else, carrying every responsibility, and trying to play every role.  The lyrics don’t dress it up. They sing of “sleepless nights,” a “heart in a hurry,” and a body that won’t move under the weight of stress. The sheep don’t have any armor, and neither do they have a plan. Still, they rest because the Shepherd is watching over them.  Think about that scene and ask yourself, when was the last time that you rested like that? Most of us carry our worries around with us, worries that pop up in every quiet moment we have… sometimes screaming for attention while we try to focus on more important activities. We even tend to grip those worries tighter as they grow heavier. This song invites us to loosen our grip, open our hands, and surrender them to the Lord.  Listen to the promise at the heart of this song: “Surely Your goodness...
