COVID-19's effect on the number of streams in various Christian Music Genres



We analyzed Spotify Monthly Listeners trends across a number of our Christian music playlists. Here's what we found:

- Spotify listenership appears to be increasing for our Ambient playlist during COVID-19.

- Spotify listenership is relatively unaffected for our Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) and Christian Dance playlists during COVID-19. There is a small decrease, but that more or less follows the listening trend we saw last year.

- Spotify listenership appears to be decreasing for Christian Hip Hop during COVID-19.


Disclaimer: These trend changes may potentially be due to other factors and not necessarily a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Based on feedback from a large number of ChristianDance.eu followers we are inclined to believe that COVID-19 is a major reason for these changes in listening trends.

"Fishers of Men" by Tyler Philip Ratcliffe: Dropping Your Nets and Following Without Looking Back

Jesus doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.  “Fishers of Men” by Tyler Philip Ratcliffe was written back in July of 2024. "Born Again" by PeterLs: One Decision, One Lifetime of Walking With Jesus

Some choices mark the beginning of an entirely different life.   In a small Polish town called Podkowa Leśna, a choice was made that PeterLs has never stopped celebrating.
