'Divine Assurance' (Album) by Karl Wise: Trusting God's timing and sufficiency


The album 'Divine Assurance' by Karl Wise (Faith|Crest) is all about placing unwavering trust in God's timing and sufficiency, afirming that all things are made beautiful in His time, and that Jesus is really more than enough for all of our needs.

A journey that often starts with questioning the very essence of hope & life, trusting God's perfect timing, embracing whatever comes our way with Christ by our side, and seeing how everything finally falls into place because God provides everything that we need. 

Karl shares how he faced lots of challenges in life, from lost opportunities, to broken relationships, and dreams that appeared to be just out of reach. He shares, 'With each setback, my spirit dimmed a little bit more, and I even started asking myself if I would ever find my way back to joy.' At that point, Karl's life felt pretty grim. He prayed, putting himself out there and asking God for help. He opened up to God and asked for help, strength, and a new sense of purpose. During one of these prayerful moments, Karl felt a blanket of peace come over him. That's also when Karl realized that God had a plan, a perfect plan that unfolds in His time, a ray of hope beyond the struggles he was facing. 

Each song represents a part of Karl's journey, and shares the lessons he learned and the love that he found along the way.

  1. In His Time sets the stage, a declaration of faith that reminds us all that God's timing is always perfect, even when we can't see it.

  2. Today Is Mine encourages listeners to embrace the present, to seize every moment as a gift, and to trust that God is working in our lives right now.

  3. No Turning Back is a song of determination, a reminder to forget about the world and just focus on moving forward with Christ.

  4. No More Delays - this is Karl's song about his decision to trust in God's timing, losing the self-inflicted burden called impatience, and embracing the journey ahead.

  5. In His Arms celebrates the protection and love we may find in God's embrace. It's a reminder that God will never abandon us.

  6. Jesus Is Enough is a song that, just like the title suggests, proclaims that Christ is always enough. He provides all we need in every situation. He is more than enough!

  7. My Proverbs 31 Woman is a tribute to the incredible woman in his life, celebrating her strength, wisdom, and joy as they wait together for God's perfect plan and timing.

  8. Faithful God wraps up this part of the journey with a powerful affirmation of God's unwavering love and faithfulness, and gives us another reminder that He is always by our side, and ready to guide us through every storm (if you let Him take the lead).
