"Holy Flame" by Josh Grove - Talented Young Voice Inspires with Worship


Have you already heard Josh Grove's new song, "Holy Flame"? It's an upbeat worship song written and performed by Josh, and what makes this release even more intriguing is that Josh is a super talented 15-year-old singer-songwriter. He first shared this song at a youth event, and the response was so amazing that he was signed up by NRT. This release is the studio version.

Josh Grove - Holy FlameThe song is all about the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, and celebrates God's constant goodness and grace. The lyrics remind us that He is with us in every moment, day, or night, through both joy and hardship. 

With lyrics like "I see You rising like a wave // I see You falling like the rain," Josh emphasizes that we can see God in every situation. He's right there with us through all of our ups and downs, offering us hope and ready to guide us (if we reach out and listen). "You're by my side // Until the end of time." What I also find very exciting is that in Josh, we are witnessing the hunger of a new generation that is seeking more of God. He brings an amazing spiritual maturity and youthful passion, and we're looking forward to seeing how Josh's calling will continue to develop.

"Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children?
