Not eventual, not conditional… present in the middle of your trouble. When you no longer could see, and the fear you felt was loudest, He was already at work in what you couldn’t see. 

With God on your side, you don’t need all the answers. You don’t need to have it figured out before you can trust Him. SHAL’LIGHT puts it plainly: “I don’t need answers the way that I used to // I’ve seen Your hand light up the darkest places.” Faith and trust grow in the dark.

Can worship survive a season without answers?  Some seasons don’t resolve on schedule. “I’m Still Going to Praise You” by Die Taube ( ‘the dove’ ) was born from one of those seasons — infertility sitting alongside a father’s cancer diagnosis, disappointment stacking on disappointment.
