Dr Jaymz - Mind (CEDM)

Dr Jaymz - Mind
Dr Jaymz has released a Christian EDM (CEDM) track called Mind. It is a track released last June, but still one that is so worth sharing!

'Mind' is Dr Jaymz's debut single. His goal as a Christian missionary and an EDM artist is to inspire a generation through his unique style of electronic music and hope-filled message. It is his message that faith triumphs over fear, and calling on Jesus' name is the only way to save ourselves and our troubled world.

The creative inspiration for 'Mind' came from a desire to proclaim the message of the cross in a very creative way. With its smooth house groove and clear gospel message, it requires the listener to 'Make up your mind' about Jesus. This makes it an evangelistic song.

Lyrics:

VERSE
Pride, greed, envy, lust
Mortal sins, we’re unjust
Everyone’s lost the race
Come to Jesus, receive His grace
Ain’t no shame to say His name
He’s the Saviour, I must proclaim
I’m forgiven, I am blessed
I’m redeemed, I must confess

CHORUS
You picked me up
And set me down
You put my feet
On solid ground
You changed my life
And turned it around
And around

CHORUS
You picked me up
And set me down
You put my feet
On solid ground
You changed my life
And turned it around
And around

VERSE
Look around, there’s no other
He’s the way, to the Father
On the cross, blood was shed
He took the fall, in my stead
I’m a Son no more a slave
His love is like a tidal wave
I’m free, I got no chain
This is lit, I’m born again

CHORUS
You picked me up
And set me down
You put my feet
On solid ground
You changed my life
And turned it around

CHORUS
You picked me up
And set me down
You put my feet
On solid ground
You changed my life
And turned it around
And around

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Tears of the Lamb (Radio Edit)" by Avery Stafford: Forgiven by the Cross, Made Whole

"Tears of the Lamb (Radio Edit)" by Avery Stafford retells the well-known story of Christ's sacrifice with a deep personal gratitude. A new rendition of a song that Avery first introduced at a 1993 youth rally on a humble blue cassette tape (!) with the lyrics that focus on Jesus' innocence, His willingness to suffer, and the mystery of a love that is beyond anything we are able to comprehend. Instead of dwelling only on the sorrow, Avery points us to the hope that His tears have made possible. You hear him marvel at Christ's mercy, remind us of His forgiveness even in suffering, and celebrate the healing that comes from a life that He has made whole. The message in this worship anthem, reimagined with cinematic flair, is simple (but not easy): Jesus gave everything, and there is nothing we can do or could have done to earn such an ultimate sacrifice. "With tears in Your eyes, You died for me," but most of all, the lyrics highlight redemption's triu...
