Micah Tyler - I See Grace (CCM)

Micah Tyler - I See Grace
On Friday, June 24, Micah Tyler shared new music with this track titled 'I See Grace'. We are happy to be able to share the lyrics with you. The official audio can be heard below.

Most of us can recall times when we felt ashamed because of mistakes we made. The kind of shame that sticks with you and doesn't just fade away. Micah Tyler sings about the agony of shame, but also about how Christ has already done it all. He covers your mistakes with grace so you can move forward, leaving the shame behind you. His grace is greater than all of your sin, so what is holding you back from accepting His grace and letting go of your feelings of shame?

Lyrics:

I’ve seen shame
The kind that comes from mistakes
The kind that won’t go away
When I turned around
They were right there to remind me

I’ve seen regret
The kind that messes with your head
The failures and the can’t forgets
But standing here now
I’m thanking God it’s behind me

Cause I’ve seen nail scarred hands
Reach out and wipe it all away

Now I see grace
Hallelujah I stand amazed
I’m staring at an empty grave
And the stone that You rolled away
When I was a prodigal
You saw a son
When I left the 99
You saw the one
And just like that
All my past has been erased
When I look back
I see grace

I still hurt
Fall short of what You say I’m worth
And that devil says I don’t deserve
What You did on the cross
And he’s right cause I don’t
But You did it anyway

I see grace
Hallelujah I stand amazed
I’m staring at an empty grave
And the stone that You rolled away
When I was a prodigal
You saw a son
When I left the 99
You saw the one
And just like that all my past has been erased
When I look back
I see grace, grace
God’s grace
Grace that is greater than all my sin
Thank God almighty
Gonna sing it again
Oh grace, grace
God’s grace
Grace that is greater than all my sin

I see grace
Hallelujah I stand amazed
I’m staring at an empty grave
And the stone that You rolled away
I was a prodigal
You saw a son
When I left the 99
You saw the one
And just like that all my past has been erased
When I look back
I see grace, grace
God’s grace (I see grace)
Grace that is greater than all my sin
Thank God almighty
Gonna sing it again

Grace oh grace
God’s grace
Grace that is greater than all my sin

"In the Room" by Matt Maher feat. Chris Brown: A Heartfelt Desire for Divine Presence

Matt Maher's collaboration with Chris Brown, 'In the Room,' is a soul-stirring Christian song that encapsulates the profound longing to witness transformative moments in the presence of God. The lyrics express the desire to be present when God's power touches broken hearts, ignites faith, and brings healing. The song's verses convey a yearning for those irreplaceable instances when heaven and earth intersect, leading to changed hearts and restored lives. The chorus's declaration, ' I just wanna be in the room when You move,' beautifully encapsulates the eagerness to witness God's miraculous work up close. The bridge's vivid imagery of tearing off the roof and pushing through the crowd reflects the determination to encounter God, no matter the obstacles. The repetition of the bridge emphasizes the earnest plea to witness God's breakthroughs and freedom. 'In the Room' is an invitation to be part of moments that are greater than oneself...

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song. "Your Love" tackles that discouraging voice we all hear from time to time, the one that whispers that we're not enough and that we are defined by our past. "Once a liar, always a liar," and all kinds of variations along this same line of thought. This song isn't about wallowing in shame. "Your Love" is a celebration of the grace that changes everything.  The opening lines hit hard: "I could believe that I'm not enough // It's clear to see I don't measure up." Yep, we've all been there! But this isn't how God want us to be defined… He loved us first! "It's just what You've done // Because of Your love." That's the heart of everything.  Kevin places the change the God brings into perspective, "I could believe that my mistakes // Will follow me down into the grave // But I'm not who I was....

"How Glorious" by Red Letter Society: Why This Song Unites the Church

"How Glorious" by Red Letter Society is a Trinity-focused song that pulls you into worship. Written by Justin Tweito and Jordan West, the song calls us to return to the heart of our faith. The opening line, "How wonderful is the cross of Christ,"  draws us into praise.  The song invites us to repentance and faith, but more importantly, the lyrics magnify the Trinity: the Father's eternal plan, the Son's sacrifice, and the Spirit's ongoing work in us. The song celebrates how every part of God is involved in redeeming us!  Have you ever wondered how a song can feel so unifying? That's the beauty of this song! It calls us, the Church, to stand together in bold praise. Instead of focusing on what divides us, it points us upwards, looking to our God who is glorious in love, power, and purpose. It encourages us to see the love of the Father, the blood of the Son, and how it is applied by the Holy Spirit.  There's no abstract theology in this song… the ...
