"Reign With the Risen Saviour" by Whispering Hope: The Joy of Reigning as Royal Priests With Christ


Have you ever wondered what the "ultimate victory over suffering" will look like for faithful believers? "Reign With the Risen Saviour" by Whispering HOPE answers that question, and their answer is based on Revelation 20:4–6's vision of the first resurrection. 

whispering HOPE - Reign With the Risen SaviourThe book of Revelations is filled with vivid scenes, and the scene set in chapter 20, verse 4–6 takes us to a moment before the final day, where the thrones are set, and those who suffered for Christ (read: those who "would not bow to lies" and held fast to His Name) are raised to reign alongside Him. In other words, the martyrs and His faithful witnesses aren't forgotten… their loyalty is fully vindicated. They are crowned as priests and (here it comes…) there is a thousand years of peace!! Can you imagine that? Look at the world around us and then try to picture full peace! 

The chorus gives us a sense of the joy that will come with this victory: "Reign with the risen Saviour // Every tribe and every tongue." It's a call to unite in and with Christ instead of focusing on our differences! It emphasizes Christ's eternal reign over fleeting earthly powers. 

Yes, the timing of this scene is coming near! We may look forward to His second coming, and together with that, a thousand years of mercy, where "no chain upon their song" binds the faithful. 

Instead of dwelling on our earthly struggles, the song encourages us to focus on this upcoming eternal triumph. May you take time to listen somewhere this week. May the lyrics of the song remind you of your future as a royal priest reigning with Christ. This song shares a vision that is worth holding on to because it is a reminder that every act of courage echoes on into eternity.

"Consider the Lilies" by Madison Earl: A Gentle Call to Trade Worry for Trust

Who carries your worries when they feel too heavy? Arizona worship leader Madison Earl wrote “Consider the Lilies” for anyone who has lain awake worrying about tomorrow’s problems. It is the third of four original songs she plans to release in 2026. The message for this song is inspired by Matthew 6:26–34. Madison’s hope is that listeners remember that “they don’t have to carry everything on their own.” The chorus asks the questions we all ask. “What will we eat? What will we drink? "Lifeline" by Hudson Bezotte: Faith That Holds in Winter Seasons

Where do you turn when signs stop coming? Hudson Bezotte’s “Lifeline” opens with a confession, one you may also recognize. “I feel like I’ve been here a while.” He was met by Jesus as a child, and He “walked with me for miles.” But life happens, and it can be tough to keep the fire going “in the winter.” Have you been there, or is this where you’re at today? You still believe, but the wonder has cooled. Hudson wrote the song during a daily songwriting challenge, and the lyrics carry a lifetime of following Jesus: the disappointments, the desperation, and the hope that has outlasted them.
