KIDSØ - Sparkle

Live-electro duo KIDSØ released its latest single ‘Sparkle’ which includes a remix by The Mountain Howl on 11th October via Springstoff. ‘Sparkle’ (original) is one of the cuts from their highly anticipated upcoming album Childhood which is slated for release in March 2020. Based in Munich, KIDSØ is the combined talent of two friends, Moritz Grassinger and Martin Schneider, who have both been tinkering with electronic music and percussion instruments since they were youngsters. Moritz was tweaking electronic sounds on his Amiga as early as the 90’s, navigating 4 tones, 8 bit and 1MB memory, taped on an 8 channel cassette multitrack recorder. The same enthusiasm for experimenting and programming was shared by Martin since the 486 computers with as little as 16 MHz and 8 MB RAM, but always with the goal of reaching the limits of what is technically feasible. KIDSØ’s dynamic live shows consist of instruments such as drums, analog synthesizers, and guitars. On stage,

Eclectic - Curses

Eclectic releases a Future Bass track called "Curses". A nice fresh sound with only one brief explanation of the track by the artist... "Face your fears". Facing your fears is always a good idea, and the best part is that you don't have to do this alone. Enjoy the track! Amanda Danziger - Hiding Place

Amanda Danziger releases Hiding Place, a beautiful song about seeking refuge through the storms, and living in a hiding place when you need it most to just breathe peacefully. The song was written in two different seasons in her life: one with wonder and the other filled with grief and uncertainty. Check out 1:10 to hear some beautiful guitars and strings and at 4:55 you will hear the introduction of a choir with the full band, and at 5:30 a quartet outros the song in melody form. Effikicks - Parmigiano

A Future Bass track by Effikicks (Germany) comes without an introduction. At first, I was a little surprised that the artist didn't provide any info/story about the track, but when you play the track you quickly realize that a story would have little added value. The quality and liveliness of the track speak for itself. Pure German craftsmanship. A fresh melody that engages and is pleasantly fresh. The track can be heard on... Heads-up: New release expected next week by Nik Alevizos - Genesys

I just heard the upcoming new release of Nik Alevizos. It is completely different than the track I posted about yesterday. The track is inspired by the cinematic soundtracks of the 80s. It's a slow burner but the second drop is worth the wait. I really love the transition to the finale, where Nik gives it an extra boost. So watch this space... There is some great stuff coming.

Chapter 47 - Flux

Flux is a great track that can be seen as a mixture of progressive house and trance. It has nice chord progressions with a good build-up and drop. London-based Chapter 47 exemplifies what progressive house and trance enthusiasts devote themselves to on the regular. Having graced some of Europe and the UK’s most renowned clubs and events, sharing bills with Calvin Harris, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell and more, Pablo, the face behind the decks, has established a booming career in the electronic music industry. Eliciting the attention of admirers far and wide, this success ultimately led him to the Chapter 47 project. From Pacha and live-streamed radio sessions to over 20 major events at London’s infamous Ministry of Sound and the city’s long-standing EGG, the path has been paved firm with a sense of electric energy from the Malaga-born DJ and producer. Adorning high-end nights like Roger Sanchez’s Release Yourself, Toolroom Knights, and the 100% Pure Label Night, Pablo h
