Rita Springer, Worship Together - Stand In Your Love - Cafe Session (CCM)

Rita Springer, Worship Together - Stand In Your Love - Cafe Session
Rita Springer and Worship Together have released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Stand In Your Love - Cafe Session.

Rita shares:
We've all been fighting all the fear in the atmosphere that this past year has given us, and this was one of those crazy song writes, where I think it maybe was 30 minutes that we spent on this song when I was living in Dallas. Josh Baldwin had come in to do songwriting and Ethan Hulse was there as well with the Gateway Worship church clan. Josh, Mark Harris and I were in a room together and Ethan kind of popped in on his way
to the airport and was telling us about the songs he'd written. He was like "there's this one chorus that I never found anything for" and he just started singing that "... my fear doesn't stand a chance..." and right as he started singing it, I just started hearing lyrics! So I just started saying stuff, and it was very quick, because he had to leave for the airport.
We kind of texted back and forth a little bit about getting it settled. Even though it was a quick song
write, some of the best concepts happen when you don't overthink them. I just don't think you can overthink something when you're talking about fear. I think it has to be just direct, like, "... my fear won't stand at all with a love that doesn't fail..." and that's what is so powerful about this song. Of course, Josh Baldwin did such a beautiful job carrying it.

LYRICS:

Verse 1
When darkness tries to roll over my bones
When sorrow comes to steal the joy I own
When brokenness and pain is all I know
I won't be shaken, I won't be shaken

Chorus
My fear doesn't stand a chance
When I stand in Your love
My fear doesn' stand a chance
When I stand in Your love
My fear doesn't stand a chance
When I stand in Your love

Verse 2
Shame no longer has a place to hide
I am not a captive to the lies
I'm not afraid to leave my past behind
I won't be shaken, I won't be shaken

Bridge 1
There's power that can break off every chain
There's power that can empty out a grave
There's resurrection power that can save
There's power in Your name
Power in Your name

Bridge 2
There's power that can break off every chain
There's power that can empty out a grave
There's resurrection power that can save
There's power in Your name
Power in Your name

Sarah Kroger, Nathan Jess - Belovedness - Live (CCM)

Are you tired of feeling inadequate and alone in your struggles? Have a look at Sarah Kroger's 'Belovedness,' a powerful ballad that reminds us of our worth as children of God. Initially released on Kroger's sophomore album, 'Light,' during the peak of a global healthcare crisis, 'Belovedness' quickly found a following among those battling mental health challenges. The revisited live version, recorded in a barn-turned-studio in the UK countryside, offers a sweet, intimate take on the song, featuring Northern Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Jess on vocals. Kroger wrote the song during a period of personal growth, as she discovered the truth of her identity through reading Henri Nouwen's 'Life of The Beloved.' The lyrics remind us to let go of our past mistakes and the lies we've been told, and to embrace the truth of our belovedness. This song is not only for the Christian community, it is also for anyone struggling with their identity, loo
