Hagar Scott - Peace be still (CCM)

Hagar Scott - Peace be still
Hagar Scott has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Peace be still.

Hagar shares: "My gift for songwriting was first given through my dreams in 2008, during a time of trial and tribulation. During this time, I will hear the voices of worshippers singing songs I never heard before.
Peace be still' was birthed out of a distressing experience I encountered in 2009. Following a break-in at my home, although nothing was stolen, I was left distraught, angry and fearful. A few days after the incident, I went jogging and simultaneously worshipped and cried out to God for his peace. This song emerged immediately and I recorded it on my phone.
The Holy Spirit led me to release this song in 2021 for such a time as this. A time and season when people are living in fear, mental ill-health is on the rise and the world is crying out for peace.
'Peace be still' gives the listener hope that God is always with them (even in the darkest valley) and that they have the authority in the name of Jesus Christ to command any dark situation to Go in Jesus Christ's name. It is a song of empowerment to the believer!"

Reference text:
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm”. Mark 4:39

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, Because he trusts in You”. Isaiah 26:3

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me”. Psalm 23:4

Lyrics:

Your touch, your hands, your voice
It guides me
I walk through shadows you're with me
Sing with me
Your touch - your touch
Your hands - your hands
Your voice
It guides me
I walk through shadows you're with me
You say, peace be still
There's no reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
Cause I am here
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
Cause I am here
Though I walk through darkness
I know that it won't overtake me
Because
Because, Lord your angels are there to protect me
And you say, peace be still
There's no reason to fear
No reason to dread
Cause I am here
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
No
There's no reason to dread
No
Cause I am here
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
The 'I am' is here
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
No reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
Oh, 'I am' is here
Ohh ohh
With me now
Forever
Go
Hmm
Go
Go
Go
In the name of Jesus
Go
Jesus Christ of Nazareth
Go
Sickness and poverty
Go
Mental illness, anxiety
Go
I command you to go
Go
Pack your bags and
Go
Go
Fear - I command you to go
Go
Greater is he
Go
That lives in me
Go
Go
I cast my burdens
Go
Upon the Lord
Go
He cares for me
Go
Go
Go
By his stripes I'm healed
Go
I declare I'm healed
Go
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
Cause I am here
Peace be still
There's no reason to fear
There's no reason to dread
Peace be still

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. Sarah Kroger, Nathan Jess - Belovedness - Live (CCM)

Are you tired of feeling inadequate and alone in your struggles? Have a look at Sarah Kroger's 'Belovedness,' a powerful ballad that reminds us of our worth as children of God. Initially released on Kroger's sophomore album, 'Light,' during the peak of a global healthcare crisis, 'Belovedness' quickly found a following among those battling mental health challenges. The revisited live version, recorded in a barn-turned-studio in the UK countryside, offers a sweet, intimate take on the song, featuring Northern Irish singer-songwriter Nathan Jess on vocals. Kroger wrote the song during a period of personal growth, as she discovered the truth of her identity through reading Henri Nouwen's 'Life of The Beloved.' The lyrics remind us to let go of our past mistakes and the lies we've been told, and to embrace the truth of our belovedness. This song is not only for the Christian community, it is also for anyone struggling with their identity, loo
