Unflagged and FINIA - Reign The Hurt (CEDM)

Unflagged and FINIA - Reign The Hurt
Unflagged and FINIA has released a Christian EDM (CEDM) track called Reign The Hurt.

The artists share: "This song is about the role of sin in a Christian life. It's like wounds that need to heal but if you are holding on to them, they 'keep tearing me [you] apart'. Through Jesus Christ it is possible to identify the lies sin is coming with. And Jesus Christ is the one who destroys these lies. In response, I trust even more in Jesus and am open to sacrificing everything from this world to keep me away from him.
The last verse is focussing less on my sin or my decision to sacrifice but on the character of God.
All of this is what I was going through after years of addiction. An addiction that was tearing me apart but Jesus set me free. Hallelujah!"

Lyrics:

You've written it in stone
You won't leave us alone
The words you spoke to me
Are setting me free
But you know that my wounds
Keep messin' with my heart
You know that these wounds
Keep tearing me apart
Remindin' me of my past
All the hurt
But all this just can't last
Flying like a bird
In the sky
Spotting the lies
Which were tearing me apart
Are you tearing now apart
(But you know)
(You know that my wounds)
(You know that my wounds hurt)
(You know that my wounds)
(You know that my wounds hurt)
I'm laying down
All my rights
Into to your sovreign hands
Before the night comes
I'm laying down
All the thoughts
That reigned my heart
You reign the light

(You know that my wounds)
(You know that my wounds hurt)
(You know that my wounds)
(You know that my wounds hurt)
With open arms
My father runs
Welcoming me
Despite my past
The one
That keeps
His promises
Has a place
For me
To stay
I'm laying down
All my rights
Into to your sovreign hands
Before the night comes
I'm laying down
All the thoughts
That reigned my heart
You reign the light
