Fishburn - Pray To Me
Fishburn has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Pray To Me.

It is a fun little song about "Praying", featuring Jon Becker from Germany! We all do it (whether we admit it or not)! This is "Kygo-esque" message to not forget about praying in times of need. This post also contains a beautiful video tht really helps to bring the message across that prayer is always needed.

We asked Russ what the story is behind this beautiful song. Russ shared: "Back in April of this year, I was working on an online music production class, and we all had multiple song projects we were working on with various tracks & songs. This song started as a "friend to friend" song called "Talk To Me", but through the process of molding & forming it, I was inspired to change it to a "Jesus to Us" song and it turned into "Pray To Me".
This past year has been a trying year with Covid, and people dying, and jobs changing & drama. Sometimes we don't know what to do when we are out of gas, so I made this song to remind us that we can always Pray to Him, no matter where we are, what we are doing, or how grueling life is treating us at the moment. We, as humans, always want answers, and when we don't get them, some people give up... & some people pray. One of my best friends recently told me that the song helped after she just lost her mother to pancreatic cancer this summer. After hearing that, I realized that it might also be a healing song and one that could help us refocus on praying when we are dealing with our daily life down here on earth.
In the spring, I was facing a challenge with a manager at work, a situation that turned into an oil vs. water personality conflict. This went on for months, and while I was dealing with it, the situation was making me feel miserable. I was working on this song at the time and it reminded me to pray and keep praying about it. I prayed: "Please put me on the right path with this job Jesus, whether it's staying at this job or finding another one." Then in July, the CEO informed me in a private meeting, that that conflicting manager was being moved to a different store. I didn't see that coming and I just had my best month ever in the past 10 years in the business. Prayer certainly worked and I will never stop doing it."
