Francesca Battistelli - God Is Good (CCM)

Francesca Battistelli - God Is Good
Francesca Battistelli has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called God Is Good.

During an interview, Francesca shared the following about this song: "A few years ago a good friend of ours went through a devastating loss and I really wanted to write a song that would honor what he went through, and really speak to that idea of how tragedy affects our lives, because at one point or another, it does affect all of us. I think if the last year and a half has taught us anything, it's that we're not immune to difficult times.
It's been a hard season and this song has brought me a lot of comfort, because through it all there's one constant and that is that God is good. So no matter what you're facing, today I pray that this song would bless you, bring you hope and bring you peace, because He is good. He is there for you and He loves you so much!"

Lyrics:

Third Grade
I drew my dreams on a blank page
My own silver screen painted sun, never rain
and love without pain

It's funny, that life I designed never played out
like I had in mind
had some highs hit the ground
some ups that went down
but one thing that I figured out

Joy comes, tears fall
I'm learning there is beauty in it all
It's not hard to find it
You just have to look
Oh, God is good

I've said hellos and goodbyes
and I've held my friends while they've cried
Tasted bitter and sweet
those moments between
Oh, He's had his hand on everything

Joy comes, tears fall
I'm learning there is beauty in it all
It's not hard to find it
You just have to look
Oh, God is good

We're all young, then we're old
kids have kids of their own
and the days just keep moving, moving
If there's one thing I know
true wherever I go
He is with me forever, through it all

Joy comes, tears fall
I'm learning there is beauty in it all

Joy comes, tears fall
I'm learning there is beauty in it all
It's not hard to find it
You just have to look
Oh, God is good
Oh, God is good

Casting Crowns - Scars in Heaven (CCM)

Casting Crowns has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Scars in Heaven. We really love the chorus of this song! Such a powerful message of hope! "The only scars in Heaven, they won't belong to me and you There'll be no such thing as broken and all the old will be made new And the thought that makes me smile now even as the tears fall down Is that the only scars in Heaven, yeah, are on the Hands that hold you now"  Here are the full lyrics for this beautiful song: Lyrics: Verse 1] If I had only known the last time would be the last time I would have put off all the things I had to do I would have stayed a little longer, held on a little tighter Now what I'd give for one more day with you [Verse 2] 'Cause there's a wound here in my heart where something's missing And they tell me that it's gonna heal with time But I know you're in a place where all your wounds have been erased And knowing yours are healed is healing minе [C...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Manna from Heaven" by Angela Charles: Trusting His Provision No Matter What

"Manna from Heaven" by Angela Charles is a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness and encourages us to stand firm in every trial or challenge we may face. Angela highlights that "despite how difficult times may get, victory is the Lord's, and our enemy is defeated!"   The lyrics of the song are filled with examples of this confidence: "When water's deep and I can't stand // You are my mountain, God, You are my land." It's a reminder that even when we surrender, "When giving up, I lift my hands," God remains unshakable. The song recalls some of the miracles: "You sent Manna from Heaven // You split the Red Sea // You fed the 5000," and shows how this applies to us, "I know you won't forget me." As we have seen in the past and in the present, God provides and protects when we place our trust in Him and follow His lead.  God knows exactly where we are and what we are going through: "In darkest t...
