Taylor Fish - Holy Ghost (CCM)

Taylor Fish - Holy Ghost
Taylor Fish has released a seriously energetic song Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Holy Ghost, featuring Shara McKee and published by Weldon Music Publishing.

What a way to start the weekend! Full of energy and powerful lyrics.

Taylor shares: "As both a worship leader and traveling evangelist, I have seen such a great outpouring of the Holy Ghost as of late, just as it was in Acts 2, Acts 8, Acts 10, & Acts 19!

Just as a performer is called back to the stage for an encore after his incredible performance by a hungry crowd, “Holy Ghost (feat. Shara McKee)” claims that God is pouring out the Holy Ghost & Fire once again!

“New tongues, new wine, and fresh fire” is being poured out NOW! “An encore of Pentecost, is happening this hour!"

Enjoy!

Lyrics:

Fresh oil is flowing, the comforter is close
This victory feeling is called the Holy Ghost
It's rest and refreshing, it's heavenly power

An encore of Pentecost is happening this hour

Let it fall on me, let it fall on me (hey, hey)
Let the Holy Ghost and fire fall on me (oh-h-h-h)
Let it fall on me, let it fall on me
Let a Pentecostal revival fall on me (hey, fall on me)

A breakthrough is coming, let's raise up a shout (yeah!)
It's that upper room Spirit that the King is pouring out (the King is pouring out)
It's fire in my bones, it's healing to my soul
I feel it all over me right now, I'm surrendering control

O, let it fall on me (yeah, yeah), let it fall on me
Let the Holy Ghost and fire (Let the Holy Ghost and fire fall on me)
Let it fall on me (let it fall on me), let it fall on me (let it fall on me)
Let a Pentecostal revival fall on me (let a Pentecostal revival fall on me)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Renew me with new tongues
Revive me with new wine
Baptize me with fresh fire
This is my time, this is my time

Renew me with new tongues
Revive me with new wine
Baptize me with fresh fire
This is my time, this is my time

Renew me with new tongues
Revive me with new wine
Baptize me with fresh fire
This is my time, this is my time

Renew me with new tongues
Revive me with new wine
Baptize me with fresh fire
This is my time, this is my time

I can feel it in my hands, I can feel it in my feet
The Holy Ghost and fire is all over me
I can feel it in my hands, I can feel it in my feet
A Pentecostal revival is all over me

Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me now

Holy Ghost!
Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me now

Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me
Holy Ghost fall on me now

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Heartbeat" by Laura Leighe - Dancing in Worship

Here's a song that's more or less been stuck in my head since I heard it. It's called 'Heartbeat' by Laura Leighe and is what Laura calls a "reggaeton-influenced Christian pop duet" that's all about surrendering to God's rhythm and dancing in worship, no matter what life throws your way.  The lyrics remind me of two scriptures: "Praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe."  - Psalm 150:4 (NIV) and "Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might."  - 2 Samuel 6:14 (NIV). Maybe I'm a bit prejudiced because the song reminds us of our own thoughts when we founded "Christian Dance" years ago and picked a name. Focusing on music that allows us to feel joy and causes us (our hearts) to dance for God, a pure form of worship that we know is pleasing to God. The lyrics are about surrendering our control and trusting in God's plan. Laura sings, "I bet you f...

'Whatever It Takes – Acoustic' by Stephen Stanley: Embracing Divine Grace Amid Trial

Stephen Stanley vividly portrays the profound journey of faith in his moving acoustic rendition of the song 'Whatever It Takes'. His sincerity echoes the difficulties of completely surrendering one's heart to God despite being burdened by past mistakes and self-doubt. However, as we all know, the journey to the divine, while difficult, ultimately changes everything. 'Whatever it Takes,' a testament to Stanley's commitment, is a vocal affirmation to live continuously for God. The lyrics touch listeners' hearts as he admits, 'I've been reckless with my heart / Now I'm falling apart'; a message that many can relate to. This bold declaration is followed by a powerful surrender: 'I don't wanna be the same / I need You to be the change / I surrender all I am.' Stanley's song reaches out to everyone who has struggled with their shortcomings and leads them to the comforting presence of God. Self-doubt and the fear of falling may plagu...
