Branan Murphy - Love Won't Let Go (CCM)

Branan Murphy - Love Won't Let Go
Branan Murphy has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Love Won't Let Go.

"The past few years have been some of the hardest years of my life", says Murphy. "My faith has been challenged, my identity has been challenged, I’ve experienced a lot of disappointment, failure, and longings. But I’m learning that when I go through things like that, that's when Jesus holds on to me the tightest. These are the moments when faith is proven genuine, and as much as life has hurt me, I’m really thankful to God that he would allow things to happen so that I would know just how deep and satisfying and sufficient and real his love is. I might want to give up, but he never will. I might want to run away, but he will never leave. The essence of following Jesus is not about the measure of my love for him. It’s all about how immeasurable his love is for me. His love is perfect, his love is patient, his love will never let us go."

Lyrics:

[Verse]
You saw me when I couldn't see
Any way to make it through
Thought that I had ruined things
Guess nothing's too broken for You

[Pre-chorus]
Jesus, You're the only one
Who knows right where I am
I've never fallen far enough
To fall out of Your hands

[Chorus]
You're holding on to me
(Love won't let go, love won't let go)
You're holding on to me
(Love won't let go, love won't let go, oh, woah, oh)
You'll never leave, that's who You are (who You are)
I feel the beat of the Father's heart
You're holding on to me (love won't let go)
'Cause love won't let go

[Verse]
I feel like I'm a child again
I feel like I don't have to try
You're closer than my closest friend, yeah, yeah
And my heart is always on Your mind

[Pre-chorus]
Jesus, You're the only one
Who knows right where I am
And even death itself
Could never pull me from Your hands, oh

[Bridge]
Where could I run, where could I hide?
Why would I ever even try?
I know I'm Yours, I know You're mine
From yesterday 'til the end of time

[Pre-chorus]
Jesus, You're the only one
Who knows right where I am
I've never fallen far enough
To fall out of Your hands

[Chorus]
You're holding on to me (holding on to me)
(Love won't let go, love won't let go) Yeah
You're holding on to me (holding on to me)
(Love won't let go, love won't let go, oh, woah, oh) I know
You'll never let go, love won't let go
You'll never leave, that's who You are (who You are)
You'll never leave, I know
I feel the beat of the Father's heart (i feel the beat of Your heart)
You're holding on to me (love won't let go), the beat of Your heart
'Cause love won't let go (love won't let go)

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Lead Me To The Cross" by Tiffany Ford: Surrendering All at the Cross

Tiffany Ford's rendition of "Lead Me To The Cross" is a tribute to the original song that was released approximately 10 years ago, around the same time that Tiffany started attending church with her family. The song beautifully reflects her own journey of learning about Jesus, especially His style of teaching … not by telling people what they needed to do, but by loving, healing, serving, and through His sacrifice.  One of Tiffany's favorite lines is "Rid me of myself," a contrast to the worldly focus of more is more, and shifting focus to faith, where we have all that we need, and embrace true freedom in Him. Tiffany emphasizes the message she found behind this line: "Lay your worries, your hang ups, lay everything down at the cross and follow me. Jesus died a death he didn't deserve so that we could live freely and this song serves as a good reminder for me."   It all comes together in the lines: "Savior I come // Quiet my soul, remembe...
