Maria Segerholm - Healing Rain (CCM)

Maria Segerholm - Healing Rain

Maria Segerholm has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Healing Rain.

Maria is a Swedish singer/songwriter who wishes to spread hope through her music. Her only record to date is a very special one, a musical testimony about God's healing power.

Maria shares: "I wrote the song last year for a close friend of mine who suffered from the horrible complex multi-system disease M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over 7 years. M.E is a chronic illness that there is not yet a cure for, and it's affecting over 20 million people worldwide. Knowledge is missing and many people struggle without any support. I'm heartbroken that anyone should need to go through this. Heartbroken but not without hope. Healing Rain is a prayer that puts into words the struggle of waiting for a miracle but at the same time feeling peace knowing that God is faithful no matter what.

Did you notice that I wrote that my friend suffered as in past tense? That's because on the 7th of January 2022 she was miraculously healed. PRAISE GOD!! My friend got an amazing encounter with God, a vision where Jesus' hands pulled her out of a pit and said to her that she's never going back there. She also got Psalm 40:1-3 to confirm the vision. It's amazing and nothing but a miracle the improvement in her health since then.

Healing Rain was a prayer born in despair when my friend was sick, a prayer to our God of wonder who is faithful. I hope the song will continue to bring hope, comfort, and healing to anyone listening who's going through a tough season. God is faithful!"

Lyrics:

[Verse]
It's been so many years
Prayers, tears and fears
Waiting patiently, and impatiently
Not knowing what to do, but lift my eyes to You
Hurting peacefully, You are carrying me
I don't understand, but I know You are the same
There's power in Your name, Jesus

[Chorus]
God of wonder, hear my song
I lift my hands to You
Hear my cry for my sister in need
I know You're faithful, faithful

[Verse]
You have a perfect plan
Of future and hope
Always in control, in weakness You are strong
Upholding with Your hand, lighting up the valley
Loving endlessly, surrounded by Your grace
You will make a way, do the impossible today
There's power in Your name, Jesus

[Chorus]
God of wonder, hear my song
I lift my hands to You
Hear my cry for my sister in need
I know You're faithful, faithful

[Bridge]
Send healing rain, healing rain
Pour Your blessing O Lord, healing rain
Send healing rain, healing rain
Over my sister in need, healing rain

[Chorus]
God of wonder, hear my song
I lift my hands to You
Hear my cry for my sister in need
I know You're faithful, faithful
I know You're faithful, faithful

[Outro]
Protection by Your angels
Protection by Your hand
Protection by the Highest
Your favor, Your healing rain

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Oceans (Hillsong Cover)" by Tiffany Ford - Stepping into the Unknown with Faith

Life can at times feel like a stormy sea! Do you recognize that feeling? Tiffany Ford does, and Oceans by Hillsong is one of her 'go-to' songs for those rough times in life. She released a beautiful cover of Oceans, and shared how faith became her anchor when her life seemed so overwhelming. "Seemed" is the key word here, because in her moments of doubt and fear she discovered that God was meeting her exactly where she stood — by her side as she stood on shaky ground or in deep waters.  Oceans is a favorite for many readers, a song that describes the tension we feel between trust and uncertainty: "You call me out upon the waters / The great unknown where feet may fail." It's a beautiful invitation to step out of your comfort zone, even when it feels quite risky. With this cover, Tiffany is reminding us (and herself) that He is there when we get of our comfort zone. We can count on Him being there to guide us —  "Your sovereign hand will be my guide...

Riley Clemmons - Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix (CCM)

Riley Clemmons has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Stuck Inside My Head - Single Mix. The song 'Inside My Head' was born out of a season of pain and healing. As a result, the song has a way of speaking about life's difficulties that is accessible and relatable to everyone.  "As I was writing and dreaming up this record, "says Riley, "there was never a plan to create anything but honest music, born from hurting, growing, and healing. I collected songs for this body of work much like I collected every experience I found myself in the middle of over the past couple of years... the highs & lows, the conversations with God, the questions about my identity, the heartbreak, and the healing." Although the music addresses life's hurts, it does much more than that. The trials of life, according to Clemmons, are ordained by God so we can draw close to him. "The thread that began to connect them all quickly became the idea tha...
