North Point Worship - Prodigals - Live (CCM)

North Point Worship - Prodigals - Live
North Point Worship has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Prodigals - Live.

The worship band from North Point Ministry started as InsideOut, the church's high school ministry. They now serve over a million people each week online, via television, and at North Point Community Church's multi-campus metro Atlanta campus. The ministry serves a growing and diverse group of worshippers, which reaches far beyond its network of 90 local churches.

Lyrics:

You know I had my doubts
I thought the fire went out
But the old winds are blowing, blowing again
You know I lost my way
And I’m sure I will again someday
But there’s a whisper calling, calling again

This is the sound of a child coming home
Hallelujah
This is the song of a welcome prodigal
Hallelujah
I thought I was too far gone
But You always leave the light on
Praise God, praise God, praise God
I’m coming home

Thought I was miles away
Somehow my vision changed
You’ve been with me, with me all along
Took me a long, long time
To finally realize
You never ever, ever, ever shut the door

For those who are afraid to come
There is no fear in perfect love
For those who don’t know where to start
He always meets us where we are
For those with just a little faith
A little faith is all it takes
He’s calling, He’s calling
If you got caught up in religion’s game
Then let Him show you the real thing
For the skeptic still in search of truth
He’ll bring that child out of you
What are you still waiting for
He’s standing at an open door
He’s calling, He’s calling

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Lead Me To The Cross" by Tiffany Ford: Surrendering All at the Cross

Tiffany Ford's rendition of "Lead Me To The Cross" is a tribute to the original song that was released approximately 10 years ago, around the same time that Tiffany started attending church with her family. The song beautifully reflects her own journey of learning about Jesus, especially His style of teaching … not by telling people what they needed to do, but by loving, healing, serving, and through His sacrifice.  One of Tiffany's favorite lines is "Rid me of myself," a contrast to the worldly focus of more is more, and shifting focus to faith, where we have all that we need, and embrace true freedom in Him. Tiffany emphasizes the message she found behind this line: "Lay your worries, your hang ups, lay everything down at the cross and follow me. Jesus died a death he didn't deserve so that we could live freely and this song serves as a good reminder for me."   It all comes together in the lines: "Savior I come // Quiet my soul, remembe...
