Mos Stef - No Judgement (CHH)

Mos Stef - No Judgement
Mos Stef has released a Christian Hip Hop (CHH) track called 'No Judgement'.

Born and raised in Mount Vernon, New York, Stefan Jackson, AKA Mos Stef, was shaped and influenced by the birthplace of hip hop. His father, Stefan Moncrieffe, was a world-renowned guitarist so music was in his blood. While attending college, he gave his life to the Lord and has been on fire for Jesus ever since. His aunt, Jean Walker, instilled in him values and a work ethic that have propelled him to become a standout, up-and-coming Christian artist in the Mid-West.

Lyrics:

Yah
Victorius life
Mos Stef
No judgement
Yeah

God is who I grind for, can I get an amen
Praise every day, I don’t wait for the weekend
You see how we blend, beats with a Christian flow
Warring with the devil using scriptures as my ammo

You reap what ya sow, try to live Christ like
Walking with the Lord if you ask me what my life like
This ain’t a knife fight, man it’s a holy war
Soldier on the frontline, God is what I stand for

You know the metaphor, prints in the sand
Times that he carries me if things get outta hand
Showing blessing, puttin pictures on the Gram
1 John 4:8, so easy to understand

God is love, matter fact God is peace
And Jesus resurrected to seal the devil’s defeat
Give us eternal life and a path that we should follow
Weapons fail against me, I say it with bravado

Hands in the air, but it’s not a stick up
Praising my way through devil plans, I cause a hiccup
Monkey wrench in the works, when I give it to the Lord
And place it in His hands, a sign that I have matured

Running hard, I will never pass out
The day He calls me home is the day that I cash out
Had ups and downs, it was a heck of a run
But I wanna go to heaven to hear Him say well done

Repping Jesus till the death of me
Stick to my conviction like I’m tryna fight a felony
Melodies from heaven, is what He sending to me
I’m a Gospel rapper, I rep G-O-D

Faith is believing things that you don’t see
I thank God for all the things that He’s done for me
We were told to go and spread His word
So I will not stop, I will not be deterred

Screaming hallelujah, standing on the curb
True ministry is outside the walls of the church
Going to the jails, speaking to the youth
Bringing the lost souls to the knowledge of the truth

Putting feet on these streets, to reach lost
Empowered by His spirit like the day of Pentecost
Spreading His word out with every word I speak
And stomping the devil’s head till he’s 10 feet deep

I’m charged up, amped up and so gone
Don’t you know it’s darkest before the peak of dawn
So I can celebrate about His love and grace
I do it for the Kingdom, do it for heaven’s sake

This fire burning inside is unquenchable
I put my trust in the Lord because He is capable
Heaven is the goal, life that won’t pass away
Consuming fire that is burning every sin away

I heard a voice in the middle of the night
Say pick up a pen and tell 'em about Christ
So when the adversary try to set a trap
The Holy Ghost speaks and tell me how to react

I spit for the lost and disenfranchised
That voice saying smoke is the devil in disguise
Put Christ in your life and nothing stands against you
Guaranteed victory, that’s what I can attest to

Secrets Artists Should Learn About The Spotify Algorithm

Spotify's competitive edge is the amount of data it holds on listeners and the way it uses that data to increase engagement. ... Using the same underlying data and technology can provide unique insights to record labels and artists about who's listening to what and help them reach more listeners. The Spotify algorithm sets itself apart from other digital music streaming services. The algorithm is an AI system known as BaRT (an abbreviation of Ba ndits for R ecommendations as T reatments). Basically, BaRT’s job is to keep listeners listening. It does this by playing and suggesting songs it knows the user is familiar with, while dropping in some fresh tracks it thinks they might like, but most importantly, haven’t heard before. This makes sure the listener is engaged, but things never get boring. BaRT decides what to suggest to listeners by combining two concepts – Explore and Exploit. This combination is the key to the platform’s recommendation system. Exploit uses the listene...

"Coming Out Of Babylon" by Robert Peterson and The Crusade: Finding Purpose and Joy in Christ

Robert Peterson had barely dusted off his drum kit when the Lord handed him a new setlist. Robert shares: "this current round of songs being created were different - they were all his - well sort of all his." He had decided it was time to offer up his talents to the Lord. Robert writes: "I was mortified at the thought of actually giving my life to Him. I didn't want to give up who I thought I was."   "Coming Out of Babylon" is the first song coming out of this change (one that was on the shelve a while pending creation of a intro). The result is a five-minute testimony that turns a trembling surrender into a victory march. As you listen, you can feel how this slow ache of "doing what I wanted to… without a fear" transitions into the realization that "I needed You - all the way."   What I enjoy about the song is that it helps to see "leaving" as the first step that is needed to following His calling for us. The chorus emph...
