Chris Tomlin, Steffany Gretzinger - O Lord, You're Beautiful (with Steffany Gretzinger) (CCM)

Chris Tomlin, Steffany Gretzinger - O Lord, You're Beautiful (with Steffany Gretzinger)
On Friday, August 12, Chris Tomlin and Steffany Gretzinger shared new music with this track titled 'O Lord, You're Beautiful (with Steffany Gretzinger)'.

It is the final track ahead of the launch of his new worship project ALWAYS, out on September 9.

The album contains 13-tracks, all of which were co-written by Chris except for the beloved classic “O Lord, You’re Beautiful” written by Keith Green. Chris’ enthusiasm for the craftmanship of the song runs deep. “This project is all about helping people have an encounter with God through worship and this next song we are releasing, “O Lord, You’re Beautiful” with my dear friend Steffany Gretzinger, is a song that for me personally, does just that…” shared Chris. “During the pandemic I started to do church at home with my girls, and each Sunday we would gather around the piano and worship as a family. Very quickly this song, written decades ago by the legendary Keith Green, became an anthem for us and soon became the catalyst for this record. I don’t often record covers, but I am so excited to come behind and champion a song as powerful as this one is for the church.”

We are happy to be able to share the lyrics with you.

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"Change Coming On" by Robert Peterson and The Crusade: Feeling the Shift Towards Hope

Ever feel like life's a bit… frosty? Or that you're longing for something more profound and meaningful in life? Robert Peterson and The Crusade connect with that feeling. In their second release, "Change Coming On," they explore the search for meaning and change. Robert Peterson, who has been playing music since his early teens, has an interesting approach to writing lyrics. He is especially careful that his lyrics do not immediately lead to people labeling the song as "Christian," and tries to avoid classifications like "Christian Rock" so that he can reach a larger audience with his message. People who otherwise would be turned off by overt religious references. "Change Coming On" accomplishes this with subtlety and depth. The song opens with the image of being "all alone on a crowded city street," creating a feeling of isolation and longing. As the song continues, a powerful awareness is building up, "I can feel a chang...
