Jeremy Mage - Walk With Me (CCM)

Jeremy Mage - Walk With Me

Jeremy Mage has released a 9-song Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) album called 'Pretty Songs About Death'. In this blog post we are featuring the song 'Walk With Me' from his album.

Jeremy writes: "By fate or chance, I frequently confronted death in various facets these last few years. I wrote songs to comfort dying loved ones, which we sang together in their final hours. I searched for a spiritual language that would resonate with a friend who was an avowed atheist at death’s door. And late at night, I wrote to come to grips with my own mortality and to wake to life in all it’s beauty and absurdity. Without meaning to, I discovered I’d written an album."

The TL;DR version of the lyrics for 'Walk with me'

I set my burden down on the yielding ground and continue on with my empty hands. The wind brings evening clouds, howling that lonely sound, and I know that I'll find a friend in the shadow's dark. Will you accompany me until I find my way home? I ask myself: 'Is this a fall from grace?' I've come this far on faith, and even if I could turn back now, would I?
