The new owner of Twitter has announced that everyone using the Twitter API to post messages will need to pay at least US$100 per month. This decision by Twitter may affect our posts on Twitter.
We use third-party services to automate crossposting from our website to Facebook and Twitter. These services are still negotiating with Twitter, but if they can't reach an agreement they will stop crossposting our news to Twitter. Alternative services are facing the same challenge.
We are a free service with a very limited budget. Our mission is to provide good content that encourages more people to listen to newly released Christian music. Manual posting to Twitter or paying higher subscription fees is not an option for us.
We appreciate each and every follower, but let's be honest... Over 99.9% of our daily visitors (traffic) do not come from our posts on Twitter. As a result, there is no positive business case we can make that will justify paying at least US$100 per month just to keep our news feed alive on Twitter.
So, if you are following us on Twitter, please don't be surprised if / when the newsfeed on Twitter suddenly stops.
