Doubts about her ability to write songs surfaced, but she ultimately embraced God's calling and accepted her divine purpose. Her faith was further tested when diagnosed with advanced thyroid cancer, risking her singing voice. Throughout treatment, she clung to unwavering faith, pouring her heart into songwriting.
