"Fire Fall" by Joseph Craft - Ignite Your Faith

Joseph Craft's "Fire Fall" is a cry for surrender, a song that invites the Spirit to "set my soul ablaze." The first lines of the song place you before God: "Here in Your presence I stand // Fully surrendered to You." And what is it that Joseph asks? "Spirit awaken inside of me // Invade my heart again." Is this scenario too distant to imagine? God is much closer than many people think! He is only a prayer away… On a bended knee, we invite Him to be part of our lives.

Joseph Craft - Fire Fall"Are you ready to let go of everything holding you back?" That's the big question that kept going through my mind as I listened to this song. This is Joseph Craft's debut release, a song about desiring the fullness of God by sacrificing ourselves completely to Jesus. Joseph wrote, performed, and produced this song himself.

You'll love the lyrics, such as "Spirit set my soul ablaze" and "Give me undying desire for all that You are," a humble prayer that follows the many examples we find in the Bible. There's no holding back in this plea. The imagery of fire used in the song represents both the cleansing and an unquenchable hunger for God's will. When Joseph sings, "Humbly I bow before You, I give You my all," you can sense the deepness of this surrender in a beautiful way.

If you've ever wanted to press the reset button on your spiritual life or just simply crave to be closer to God, then give this song a listen. May you listen to it with an open heart, and possibly you may just find yourself praying along. Enjoy!

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song. "Your Love" tackles that discouraging voice we all hear from time to time, the one that whispers that we're not enough and that we are defined by our past. "Once a liar, always a liar," and all kinds of variations along this same line of thought. This song isn't about wallowing in shame. "Your Love" is a celebration of the grace that changes everything.  The opening lines hit hard: "I could believe that I'm not enough // It's clear to see I don't measure up." Yep, we've all been there! But this isn't how God want us to be defined… He loved us first! "It's just what You've done // Because of Your love." That's the heart of everything.  Kevin places the change the God brings into perspective, "I could believe that my mistakes // Will follow me down into the grave // But I'm not who I was....

Brandon Lake - Praise You Anywhere (CCM)

'Praise You Anywhere' by Brandon Lake is a powerful anthem that encourages us to turn to praise in every season of life. No matter the circumstances we face, choosing to praise God will shift our perspective and ignite faith within us. The lyrics of the song remind us that in the midst of darkness, fire, and challenges, we can dance, sing, and praise God. We are called to worship even when it doesn't make sense and to boldly face the giants that stand before us. The song emphasizes the power of praising God in the highest, acknowledging His worthiness of all our praise. Brandon Lake's heartfelt message resonates with the reality that there are times when we find ourselves in prisons and battles. However, even in those moments, we can cry out to heaven, stand firm, and worship with our hands held high. The song encourages us to trust that God will bring us through, and in response, we will praise Him anywhere. The bridge of the song beautifully highlights God's faith...

"Listen to Our Hearts" by Avery Stafford: When Words Fall Short of Worship

Have you ever felt something that is so profound that you can't find the right words to describe it? How do you explain a love "that goes from east to west and runs as deep as it is wide" ? How do you describe something as simple as the flavor of a strawberry? That's the beautiful tension that Avery Stafford sings about in his cover of the song "Listen To Our Hearts."  "Listen To Our Hearts" is a classic praise and worship song written by Geoff Moore and Steven Curtis Chapman. Avery Stafford recorded it for his album "Undignified" in 2004, after discussing it with a friend following a worship concert. His friend was impressed by the jazz-influenced version of this beloved song and encouraged Avery to consider recording it. This recording features Tony Bolivar (saxophone). Until now, "Listen To Our Hearts" had never been released to radio.  The lyrics are about the moment when our words fall short, when even "a thousand year...
