"Erased Forever" by Gresha Schuilling: The Cross Cancelled Every Charge Against You

What if the record with every mistake you've ever made was completely and permanently destroyed?

Gresha Schuilling - Erased Forever"Erased Forever" by Gresha Schuilling (part of her upcoming album "New Bloodline") answers that question. This song is built on a powerful promise, not that your mistakes will be covered up or put on hold, but that it was nailed to the cross and has been silenced forever.

The lyrics are based on Colossians 2:14, a scripture that changes the way you start every single day. Gresha sings: "Every charge that stood against me, every word I couldn't fight, met the weight of what You finished." Think about this for a moment… this is the reality that the cross has made possible for you, today, whatever has happened in your life.

Colossians 2:14 is very clear: "by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross." (ESV)

God didn't negotiate your debt. He cancelled it completely. The Greek word used here literally means "to wipe out completely, as ink washed off a page, gone without a trace. "Every debt that stood against me // Was undone in Jesus' name // No accusation echoes // No remainder to reclaim // You erased it forever // And it cannot speak again." None of it has any legal standing. The case was dismissed the moment that Christ said, "It is finished."

So why do so many believers still live under a verdict that no longer exists? The enemy doesn't have any new material. "You removed it // Drove it through with nail and scar // Now the record lies in silence // Buried where You broke its power." The enemy can only replay records that still live in your head and heart. Don't let him have that control over you! You are not defined by what the cross already dealt with.

Walk in that freedom today. Say it out loud… "Lord, You erased it forever!" May this song and scripture remind you of what Jesus accomplished and help you to reshape the way you see yourself. Whatever happened, it's already nailed to the cross. "No accusation echoes — no remainder to reclaim."

(Related scripture: Colossians 2:14; Romans 8:1; Hebrews 10:17)

"Jesus Is His Name" by Aaron Goodhew: The Name That Changes Everything

“Jesus Is His Name” by Aaron Goodhew is a song written as a Christ-centred declaration of who God is and what He has done. The song begins by asking, “Who designed creation and called it into being?” and quickly answers by pointing our eyes “high above the heavens” and leading us to the very place “where he rests his feet.” In other words, this is worship from creation to restoration. Each verse walks through different parts of Christ’s work: parting waters, calming storms, healing lepers, restoring outcasts, setting captives free. The chorus invites the church to confess together: "He is the Lord God // Lifted up // Mighty to be praised // Sovereign King of kings // Name above all names." But most of all, He is the personal Savior “The one who paid our ransom // The one who saved a wretch like me.” The bridge crowns this declaration, calling Jesus “wonderful counsellor, mighty king and friend,” the Lion and the Lamb whose glory we cannot fully comprehend. A declaration...

Vertical Worship - Blessed (CCM)

Vertical Worship has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Blessed. The Beatitudes serve as the inspiration for this new track. Quoting Vertical Worship: “The first line of the sermon on the mount, ‘Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven’ are words that we may be familiar with, but hold a profound invitation from Jesus. It is not those who have it all figured out, or have all the answers that will know more of His kingdom, but rather those who recognize their need of Him. And more of Him means more of His rule, His reign in my life. His law is love and He comes near with mercy.” They continued, “So, quite simply, that’s where the song started, from a place of remembering, a place of trust that when we turn to Jesus, we gain more of Him. And more of Him means more of His presence, His peace, His love. For what does it matter to gain the whole world, but forfeit our soul? What a gift that we get to at any moment recognize our deep need fo...
