What does it feel like to drift from God, and you’re longing to find your way back? HOMECOMING captures that longing in their song “i miss u <3”. It’s a song that puts words to the spiritual restlessness that so many believers are quietly carrying. 

The song opens with a person looking back: “If I could go back to when I had hope, while you were so close.” That’s conviction, the kind that hits when you realize how far you’ve wandered away. “I’m so lost on my own, nothin’ feels the same without You,” a confession most of us have lived, but struggled to say out loud. A confession that ignites change when we share it with God in prayer. 

HOMECOMING shows us the steps that change everything. The question: “Will you take me back?”, listening: “I still hear your voice // You’re calling me home”, a genuine commitment to change: “I’m never turning back to the way I was”, and our surrender: “Nothing compares to You.” Steps that stop our mourning and start our run back to Him. Where desperation becomes surrender, and our hearts long for His love. The line “I’ll throw it all away to be close to You” isn’t defeat; it’s the key that lets freedom into our lives.
