Some choices mark the beginning of an entirely different life.
In a small Polish town called Podkowa Leśna, a choice was made that PeterLs has never stopped celebrating. Twenty-two years ago, he stepped into the waters of baptism and came out a different person. “Born Again” is his testimony — honest, grateful, and filled with the kind of faith that continues to grow. “Twenty-two years ago, I chose the life, to follow Jesus, day and night.” This isn’t a song that celebrates that specific moment twenty-two years ago; it’s a celebration of every moment since then!
The song has an interesting detail that is worth pointing out. The total duration of the song is 3:16, which in turn is a deliberate nod to John 3:16. This is the scripture where Jesus told a Pharisee named Nicodemus, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Eternal life isn’t something you can earn. It’s something you receive the very moment that you say “yes” to Jesus.
PeterLs sings in the bridge: “The old is gone, the new has come, a life redeemed, a race to run.” That’s exactly what 2 Corinthians 5:17 describes — a complete transformation, not a renovation. You aren’t patched up. You are made new! That truth applies to your Monday mornings, your hardest seasons, and your biggest failures. God doesn’t work with leftovers. He starts fresh!
Take a moment today to remember your own turning point. Maybe it was the day you were baptized. Maybe it was a quiet prayer alone, inviting God into your life. Whatever moment that was, it counted! God held out his hand, you accepted it, and held it tight. Listen to “Born Again” and let PeterLs’ story remind you of your own. “Your love, my God, my battle cry.”

Background:
"Born Again" is a song commemorating the 22nd anniversary of my Baptism, which took place in the charming town of Podkowa Leśna, Poland, near Warsaw. The decision to undergo Baptism shaped my life and my perspective on the world. The lyrics were written earlier, when there was no commercial connection, simply a heartfelt message after the release of the word to the Glory of God. It is a song of thanksgiving, an emotional online message of feelings, faith, hope, and love. I'm glad I managed to create this name; even the time of this song, 3:16, has a meaning referring to John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Regardless of the situation, in him everything makes sense. Hallelujah, Amen.
