Acer Chap - Boon (CCM)

Acer Chap - Boon
Acer Chap has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Boon.

"Boon is a word that signifies blessings. Boon is a friend that helps you through the lessons". As the lyrics go, Acer Chap talks of his blessings during his monumental journey as a gospel music artist. Acer Chap shares: "A song I wrote at a time I wanted to give up on music but all hope was not lost."

The song features the powerful vocals of his younger sister, Cheedera as their duo deliver an electric song for the fans.

Lyrics:

It's Dera in the building
Monumental Hits with Acer Chapman
Mirano pon d beat o
Issa boon boon
You already know
Better still when things weren't okay
You talked me out of being gloomy
I see Jesus in you when you held me all through
The mountains and challenges that life brought me to
Boon is a word that signifies blessings
boon is a friend that helps you through the lessons
Play it back on repeat, boom boom like a heart beat
Never felt stronger till I came and faced defeat

[Boon boon] and they're wondering why
[Boon boon] this I can't deny
[Boon boon] and you know say me no dey lie

[Ace boon coon, ace boon co-co-co]
[Ace boon coon co-co-co-coon] x2

Everyone talks but not everyone says it
Raise the bars higher but wait I'd rather break it
Just hold on, do stay strong, ride along and make that song
Feels like I'm holding on to something never gone
Before you beckon, try to reckon
All your boons and waste no second
Take a chance, make the choice
Then have a dance and be the poise
Kept running through my mind's track
Like one of a kind
The afternoon's dawn is still coming soon

[Boon boon] and they're wondering why
[Boon boon] this I can't deny
[Boon boon] and you know say me no dey lie

In order to make it just never ever fake it
Risk it to take it to the next step or fail it
Don't give up on you
Hold my hand too
We'll face it together no matter the weather
All this time you faced one direction
Clear your mind from all that depression
Play it back on repeat, boom boom like a heart beat
Never felt stronger till I came and faced defeat
All this time you've been under pressure
You're a gem, just check your reflection
Play it back on repeat, boom boom like a heart beat
Never felt stronger till I came and faced defeat

[Boon boon] and they're wondering why
[Boon boon] this I can't deny
[Boon boon] and you know say me no dey lie
[Boon boon] and they're wondering why
[Boon boon] this I can't deny
[Boon boon] and you know say me no dey lieThe song features the powerful vocals of his younger sister, Cheedera as their duo deliver an electric song for the fans.

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song. "Your Love" tackles that discouraging voice we all hear from time to time, the one that whispers that we're not enough and that we are defined by our past. "Once a liar, always a liar," and all kinds of variations along this same line of thought. This song isn't about wallowing in shame. "Your Love" is a celebration of the grace that changes everything.  The opening lines hit hard: "I could believe that I'm not enough // It's clear to see I don't measure up." Yep, we've all been there! But this isn't how God want us to be defined… He loved us first! "It's just what You've done // Because of Your love." That's the heart of everything.  Kevin places the change the God brings into perspective, "I could believe that my mistakes // Will follow me down into the grave // But I'm not who I was....

"How Glorious" by Red Letter Society: Why This Song Unites the Church

"How Glorious" by Red Letter Society is a Trinity-focused song that pulls you into worship. Written by Justin Tweito and Jordan West, the song calls us to return to the heart of our faith. The opening line, "How wonderful is the cross of Christ,"  draws us into praise.  The song invites us to repentance and faith, but more importantly, the lyrics magnify the Trinity: the Father's eternal plan, the Son's sacrifice, and the Spirit's ongoing work in us. The song celebrates how every part of God is involved in redeeming us!  Have you ever wondered how a song can feel so unifying? That's the beauty of this song! It calls us, the Church, to stand together in bold praise. Instead of focusing on what divides us, it points us upwards, looking to our God who is glorious in love, power, and purpose. It encourages us to see the love of the Father, the blood of the Son, and how it is applied by the Holy Spirit.  There's no abstract theology in this song… the ...

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...
